Government has finally gotten so big that one cannot go thru life without being interfered with or directly affected just trying to live your life. To Gen-Z: 1) people asking if you're registered to vote annoys you? This happens during every election season. It's not that big of a deal. If that bothers you, then you need to get a life. 2) your answer to the question regarding the direction our country is headed...I agree with you on that one. I don't like it either. In fact, since the 1960s, young people were unsure, anxious, angry, questioning, etc etc. Voting is one of those things you can do that can make changes-perhaps incrementally, but it can. Not all abortions are for the purpose of “birth control”, or because the woman “doesn't want the baby.” So, do you want to die because you have an ectopic pregnancy and can’t get the healthcare you need? Do you know what an ectopic pregnancy is? I’ll explain: an ectopic pregnancy is when the fertilized egg implants anywhere outside of the uterus. Usually in the fallopian tube. As the fetus develops, it becomes too large for the fallopian tube and the tube will rupture causing the woman to hemorrhage (bleed) to death very quickly. The ectopic pregnancy, along with her fallopian tube, HAS to be removed or the woman will die. That is a form of abortion since the pregnancy is terminated. Another example: a woman is pregnant with twins. One of the twins dies in the womb. The dead twin begins to decay thus threatening the life of the other still living twin. In order to save the still living twin, the dead twin must be removed ( or aborted). If the dead twin isn’t aborted, both twins will die. And high probability that the mother will die, too, from sepsis. Another example: a woman miscarries. Some of the fetal tissue and/or placenta does not get expelled from the uterus during the miscarriage. The woman MUST have a D&C in order to remove the remaining tissue. If she doesn’t, she will die from sepsis. This is what happened to Amber Thurman. But the abortion ban prohibited the doctors from performing this very simple procedure. Amber didn’t have to die. There are so many other types of examples. Do you still think women are being ridiculous???

I'm Gen Z and I am tired of struggling for the last 4 years. Another 4 years of the same is suicide. My parents were also doing so much better 5-8 years ago when Trump was in office. When those issues were resolved, prices remained high and continued to rise. Harris has actively fought against this sort of greedflation, but it's had limited impact because there's only so much Congress can do when it's companies trying to line their pockets. If you look at what's going on, I've seen housing prices start to fall a bit, and I've seen more jobs available. Things have been bad, thanks to 2020-2021, but now they're starting to get better.

Inflation in the US is the lowest in the western world. Trump will put huge tariffs on imports, which will raise inflation by a serious amount for at least the next 4 years.

What baffles me is that Dana Bash keeps saying that people did not feel that Harris told what her policies would be. And that Harris did not answer to the question about making mistakes. Maybe Harris could have said "I make no mistakes" like Trump would have said, but we all do. Maybe Harris could say: "We all do make small mistakes, the critical thing is how to reorganize and make sure they are caught before becoming a problem." I think that is what she said, but in a more wordy version.

When I worked for a college football team in 2020, one of my coworkers was asked to take some players to go vote. One said he already voted in one stated but wanted to show Biden some more love I guess. They showed up to the polling place and decided the line looked too long. Instead, they just went to Wendy’s and went back home. And no, a long line isn’t voter suppression. You should figure out a plan to vote and not just do it on a whim. You should also expect a wait as well. I wish more places had more early voting. I voted early before and I don’t think I had a wait. But in that year’s primary, I waited over 2 hours. I don’t expect the younger generations to stand in line to vote.

To give you an actual, serious answer: Who your generation (and others) are voting for largely depends on your region and cultural factors within that region. If you were in a different region, you'd likely find that everyone around you said they were voting the exact opposite. You should also be aware that people may not always openly say who they're voting for, especially when peer pressure, family, and society in their area may be voting the opposite and it could be dangerous (physically, mentally, and socially) to admit they feel otherwise.
I see that some men still think they know all the complications and problems that can occur medically and in a woman's life and therefore deem themselves qualified to make decisions instead. For most women, abortion is not an easy decision, but most who receive an abortion are mature adults whose ability to make correct decisions for their health and that of their family should not be questioned. Those who are not mature adult women shouldn't be questioned either, because they're literal children and shouldn't be forced to give up their childhood and future. Hardly anyone undergoes the procedure as birth control, and in fact many abortions occur after birth control or prophylactics failed. Not only are there many, many reasons women might seek an abortion, but you and I are not entitled to know their reasons. I don't need or want access to other women's medical records or details of their private lives. I may not like abortion, but I understand that it's a necessary medical procedure that people should have the right to access when they need it.

an older friend of mine recently said, she wasn't planning to vote because of a health issue, but she felt she must go out and vote for Trump for her children, both young professionals have been struggling with their financial and do not see much hope in the future.

When I was 18 my mom who was lifelong Democrat forced me to vote Obama. I did reluctantly but after that voted Trump in 2016 and 2020 and will vote for him 2024.
