Love the show, especially these new intros letting us know what you will talk about, nice touch. Astounding commentary as always guys, this is my go to channel for most things, I agree with you Braden, Harriel should be there and I trust him to be a valuable asset considering we don’t have a large bench. This boy Yuri jinxed Endrick and ended up being right 😂 he was so bad today, sorry that Brazil handed you another L Yuri, you and Tac must be fuming with this tournament.

Great stuff and insights. I really really hope this competition goes better than Copa 🙏🏽 With 18 spots, it’s pretty hard to say there are any major snubs if things go as you predict, other than not using overage player at striker. That leaves one more open midfield spot for someone like Luna, who is a true snub. Side note: #FreePukštas

The good news is it’ll be hard for the Olympics to go worse than Copa America. The bad news is the roster isn’t anywhere as good as it could have been.

Please call Brian Gutierrez. CF are now playing thru him as a 10 and he’s got them back in playoff contention. He’s so direct/creative if he can improve his finishing I could see him as a potential senior team player

Guti and Luna are the main snubs, one of them should’ve made it instead of Mihailovic but I’d lean towards Luna out of the two. Unfortunately it’s looking pretty likely that Guti will end up with Mexico, possibly the same for Luna.

One thing that worries me is that this team doesn’t have a good striker. Goals win games and I don’t think there are enough goals in this team. Even Cowell becomes a big miss and that’s saying something.

I wonder if they tried to get Brandon Vazquez. Pepi, Haji, and Morris were options but none were released, I just can’t trust McGuire to score at this level. “Big miss” and Cowell usually go together 😂

Esmir needs to be patient. If he picks Bosnia, he all but assures that he will never play any big tournaments in his life. I am a bit puzzled with the exclusion of Diego Luna in the last camp. It is almost like Marko is not interested in any creative players. As if he his fully embracing Gregg ball.

We’ll see what happens with Esmir, my thought is that he was going to use us for the Olympics then switch to Bosnia where he can probably play for their senior team almost immediately, but who knows. It would be a huge loss, I’m hoping he gets a USMNT call up soon just as recruiting. Excluding Luna makes no sense and he proved it last night, what a performance.

No Luna, no party. Absolutely ridiculous. One of our most promising duel nats.. in amazing form.. left off for no reason. He is able to play multiple positions and not taking up an overage spot. Shambolic decision making.

It is rumored that him and Mitrovic had a misunderstanding…we don’t know how bad it was but leaving him out of the roster is such a bad decision, especially considering our concerns with the firepower this squad has, Luna would’ve been a great option to have.

Diego Luna & Djordje Mihailovic & Esmir together would’ve been good. I would’ve tried for Gio, McKennie, & Pulisic. I like the Mihailovic pick.

I’m sure they asked about all the top players but were denied by the clubs, there are a lot of players who weren’t released. My issue with the Mihailovic pick isn’t his quality, he’s good for the level, but an overage CAM wasn’t needed given the U23 options we have, and that ultimately cost Luna his spot.

They’d probably try to fight each other instead of defending 😂 the decision was made by Mitrović, not MLS, I think there’s some clear disagreements between him and Luna. Luna was offered a spot as an alternate but he declined.

Disagree on Esmir, he plays predominantly RW and that’s a position we need because Paredes has been iffy. Esmir can be a 10 but he would thrive for us on the RW

If calling Esmir would get him to commit to the USMNT, he 100% should’ve been called. Unfortunately though, it’s looking like he probably would’ve switched to 🇧🇦 after the Olympics, now that switch is probably going to happen sooner. He would be a really big loss but I’d rather have a player who intends to represent the USA.

The animus toward Jordan Morris is peddled by sheeple. He was a monster for the senior team (#1 in g+a/90 adjusted for comp) before his 2nd blown ACL, & after he was still big moments off the bench guy for the seniors (El Salvador, Panama, Canada, etc.). You'd think both our ineptitude & Canada's success w/ some MLS'ers & Morris-analog Shaffelburg would be cause for self-reflection from our base, but alas not. It's just been used to reinforce false narratives.

Jordan Morris is a solid MLS player. Nothing more, nothing less. A 29 year old at that level is not a player I want with the Olympic team, which is for talented youngsters, let alone the senior team.

@@AMERICANULTRASTALK Y'all acted like he was some sort of USS favorite. He hasn't played for a yr & it was for b-team. And you neglect reality he was an asset off the bench against Panama & Canada, 1 who just beat us, the other made the Copa semis. He's a late-game sub for the seniors, nothing more or less. And possibly helps this team. There are 3 over-ages, & the young fw options are lackluster.

Slonina and Schulte definitely have a chance for the World Cup, they both should start to get USMNT looks after this summer. Out of the young defenders, I back Neal, Dietz, and Wiley to at least have a chance at challenging for a World Cup spot, plus Noahkai Banks from the U20s if he progresses quickly. Tessmann is definitely ready for a step up, luckily it looks like he’s going to get that with a move to Inter Milan and a loan to a Serie A or Premier League team.

Horrible roster. There are only four truly good players. Paxten, Tessmann, Yow and Miles now. From the friendlies and their form I think those are the only really good ones

Think usa soccer is showing they don't rate mexican American players like they do other players. I hope they all make the switch play for Mexico and bring Mexico back up. Usa federation are idiots. You talk about all these players in Europe and our main team just got grouped.

There may be some truth to that. I’m all for most of them choosing Mexico, anything that can make other CONCACAF nations better is good for the USMNT as well. As long as we get the best ones like Pepi, but the reality is most of them aren’t USMNT quality anyway.

@AMERICANULTRASTALK they don't get the chance to show that though . We can talk about all the usmnt players in Europe but how many are actually contributing. How many are actually stars. Our starting golie was a 3rd stringer hus backup was the 4th option on that same team for a while. Our best midfielder gets 10 minutes at his club team. Pulisic is good but he's not a star. The usa has never valued what Mexican players Do. Some if the creativity that comes along with it. That's why we fail. We truly don't embrace the soccer culture of other people's dual nationality. After Klinsmann have we played any more German Americans
