Everyone that are saying the 2 friendly games Germany won doesn't matter clearly have not watched those 2 games and have 0 ball knowledge. It's not the result thats scary, its the way Germany played in those 2 games thats scary.
Then you haven't really watched the Netherlands game either. Got 0-1 down due to a huge backline mistake, then were better the rest of the first half, but they again were very weak in the second half until both teams started to put in substitutes. Yes, they won, but they weren't terrifying at all. And then there is France, who famously always play terrible in friendlies. They simply don't care about friendlies. The German backline is their Achilles heal. If they can prevent silly mistakes like against the Dutch, they can go far. I doubt they'll win though.
Germany struggles against teams that press high and aggressively. France and the Netherlands didn't do that. Quite the opposite, France practically stood on the field, almost no pressing at all. Similar to Germany against Portugal Euro 2021. High-pressing opponents like Mexico, Japan, Hungary, and probably Scotland will once again expose Germany's major weaknesses.
@@DrQuatsch I have watched both games live. The first defensive mistake was quite bad, but I do think their attack is really quite strong in these games. I'm not saying Germany would win the euros or something, but people definitely under-estimate them rn.
That was not modern day Croatia but German puppet state called NDH. And it was during WW2 so how legitimate is that win considering that Axis were rulling Europe at the time is debatable.

If Kroos and Musiala maintain that pass succession rate and keep Füllkrug on standby we just might get the mighty German team back.
