hes a twat. the things he says you just know hes not right and its this type of insane backwardness that gets popular on the internet. like islam and lgbt
The best thing to happen to Arsenal is being written off by virtually every pundit with a voice and an opinion. They can keep doing their thing without pressure.
The city game at anefield will decide the leauge A win for city means city most likely win A loss for city means liverpool most likely win And a draw puts arsenal in a very good spot
This is a good point, however obviously it’s not guaranteed. Arsenal have to go to the etihad too so that will also play a big factor. If city win both of those games, then yeah surely they’ll win the league
Anyone going to mention that in order for Xabi Alonso to go an entire season unbeaten he needs to win the Europa League. As a Liverpool fan I’m not sure if I want to cry or not, the last game of the Klopp era could be against a club legend who’s favourite to be our next manager
yeah, but no club's got 8 'starters' injured (assuming you mean from the 'best XI' and guessing you're another crybaby Liverpool fan - I too am a Liverpoool fan just not one that bursts into tears every time a little something goes wrong). Best XI players at Liverpool _not_ injured (more than 3 and you look silly): Alisson (it's friendlitis, so not really injured, I mean how the fuck does a keeper 'pull a hamstring'???) Robbo - NOT INJURED VVD - NOT INJURED Konate - NI Mac Allister - NI Endo (it's a new midfield - who exactly are the chosen 3???) - NI Salah - NI
You could probably add Trent to the 'friendlyitis' list. He has an injury _that no one saw him get._ "Right Jurgen (pull the other one, you're known for it!)."
@@NeilMalthus Szoboszlai and Curtis have been chosen XI when available. Jota was in top form. And missing Alisson and Trent for weeks speaks for itself.
@@janniknielsen9292 It's very sad about Jota - he's an amazing player and has had knee issues. It's sounding very serious again. That said, from the video, the 8 players shown included Matip and bloody Thiago. I love Matip to bits but he's getting released on a free over summer. Hardly unexpected. Thiago - one game a year ain't cutting it and he's getting released. Will hardly be missed, surely? Early in the season, people were on Trent's case. He got an 'injury', came back and was flavour of the month scoring twice consecutively. To me, it just looked like he was protected by Klopp. Now, we have another young right back emerging and I suspect Klopp's resting TAA with a view to TAA getting another miraculous recovery should any problem materialise with Bradley. And then you've got Alisson, he has a bad game against Arsenal and suddenly gets ill / injured. Stinks of coincidence to me. Klopp hardly invented friendlyitis but you have to realise he uses it whenever it suits him (particularly with TAA over the years). All teams get injuries. Kevin De Bruyne will be out for the season in a week or two. Shit happens. That's why clubs have enormous squads. Liverpool probably have the best squad they've ever had in their whole history. But most clubs can say the same there, too (except utd, of course! :D). So it's hardly the crisis we faced when we were defending the title, where we had 2 loanee CBs, we were missing the best support in the world and clubs like Aston Villa were missing their boo boys. We're top of the table. Things could be a whole lot worse. Wouldn't you say?
@@janniknielsen9292 Wasn't Bajcetic in that list of 8, also??? I do think he looks a great player (or did), but he's been injured all season. So that's another player missing who isn't really 'starter material' of late.
Every teams had injuries but Arsenal coming into form now with ESR, Partey, Tomiyasu and Timber to return can only be a thing. Comes down to City v Liverpool and City v Arsenal to be honest.
Unfortunately, Arsenal the underdog will win the Premier League. Yes, you can say i dont know what im saying, but truth be told, I love the way were goung about it this time, no pressure at all, ee win it come end of the season!
Liverpool easiest fixtures: 6 teams in the top half out of the remaining 13. Arsenal: 7 teams in the top half of the remaining fixtures. Both have 3 home fixtures too. Etihad being the outstanding fixture for Arsenal seeing as Liverpool have City at Anfield.
@@lfcgero35if we beat city we can’t lose. We’ve got the experience. We’ve got anfield. If we beat them we have a very good chance of not losing a game for the rest of the season
@@doubletapthatdotty4597 yes after the city game we have the better run in but there are some tough games pal. Utd and spurs standing out the most but wolves and villa will be no walkover either. Add a Merseyside derby too although its not the same intensity. Injuries might be killer for liverpool unfortunately.
Ofcourse the form for arsenal of last season is back.we were waiting that form since the biggining of the season now we have chance to lift the premier league
People are thinking it will come down to Anfield but every team will drop more points between and after that, it’s to simplistic to say Anfield will be the decider
It’s funny how whenever there’s a 2/3 horse title race and it’s tooken to the final day, the last fixture is at home but when 1 team wins the league by 5+ points they win it before the last fixture and the last fixture is an away fixture
Arsenal - Perennial bottlejobs of yesteryear. Maybe. But let’s just remember that Chelsea won 1 league in their first 100 years before dodgy money came in a changed it all. Arsenal have won titles throughout their history and will do so again this year
“I’m gonna use nothing but science and statistics” also Rory: “After that West Ham result I don’t think Arsenal will win the league... I think they will limp out of the title race.” Oh so its based on opinion after all. 😂😂😂😂😂Haha
How can you bottle a league when you weren't expected to make top 4😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 the reason we fell off wasnt "Bottling" anything (Saliba being out was Maaaaaaasive!) Anyway we are doing the double COYGS
Arsenal definitely needs a striker, The reason they scored so many goals last season is because 3 non-strikers all MASSIVELY outperformed their goal xG. That is not going to happen every season, in fact, it has never happened before. to any PL team. You can't rely on that to happen to be in a title race.
To understand Arsenal's potential to win the title, we need to understand the reason behind their bad form befire christmas. They were tired. Saka and Martinelli were in bad form because they play too much. Arsenal doesnt have the same depth than liverpool and city. They used less players than any other team in the league. They have a tight squad and a lot of injuries. They solved this with the trip and some easy weeks, and now they are playing incredible again. But they are starting to play 2 games a week again... They keep having injuries and they didnt buy anyone in the last transfer window (i understand they cant because of fpp). So I think they just cant do it. Its not about being a flopper, but about not having a squad so advanced and deep as Guardiola and Klopp. Thats the truth of modern football. Its a battle of resources. I think arsenal players and arteta have the ability and mentallity to win, but not a deep enough squad. And that makes them week in the bussy weeks of the season (specially having to play ucl)
To be fair, Liverpool's injury list was burgeoning at the start of the season, and it's never really let up. I read a few weeks ago that they have something ridiculous like 50+ more changes to their previous match's line-up than the next closest team. So far, they've been getting players back just in time for the next injuries to hit.
Arsenal so far have only played in 2nd or 3rd gear but with partey, tomi and timber to return, surely sky is the limit. This bottle job team has strengthened from last season. Think I'll take a punt on Arsenal with the best odds of the 3.
I hope your right Rory but I’m honestly not sure if this city squad is the same as old with the out going’s of gundogan, Mahrez, Laporte they were so key.
yes we played wolves twice on the final day of the season when we lost the league by a point but we also beat them both those times so it’s not like we mentally don’t think we can beat them
As Arsenal we really want to win it. However, we have really tough away games which are spurs , city , utd , wolves and brigton. Liverpool has the easiest fixture among the three. It is very tough however, to be the best you have to beat the best. Those draw to spurs and lose to fulham and west ham are hard to take.
Liverpool have the best fixtures imo! But the injuries have hinders us massively for the running! Arsenal are playing the best football recently! City have the hardest next 8 games! Could be make or break for them
i respectfully disagree with Rory. winning the fa cup was arteta's biggest moment as a arsenal manager not beating Liverpool which only gave us three points.
FINALLY thank you Rory, now we know for sure we will have a new winner, the winner of the league we can now say for sure is either Liverpool or arsenal
I think it gets crazy from the start of March. I want my Gunners to win but Liverpool is still in strong standing, and MAN C of course is a juggernaut with excessive firepower. I hope ARSENAL win every game before facing CITY next month.
Points on the board is better than a game in hand. City wins the game in hand; they’re still behind Liverpool and need to come to Anfield. Liverpool are in the best position, given how they ended last season and nobody even had them finishing in top 4 this season. They’re playing without any pressure right now. With Klopp announcing his departure at the end of the season; those players are just fired up right now.
Perhaps I've seen too much pro-wrestling in my time, but all I can think at this point is that Man City have what we call Go Away Heat. It doesn't matter if they do well or scrape by, whether they're heroic or villainous--atp no-one except their plastic fans wants to watch them, hear about them or deal with them, let alone experience them win the League yet again. If the PL is rigged as I suspect sometimes it is, they are booking it horribly and turning off viewers due to boredom and disgust. In a way, relegation could actually save Man City's reputation and appeal.
Race deffo between city and arsenal given liverpools injuries. And i think Arsenal will be top at the end of march given City and liverpool play each other
Wow! After so much analysing you managed to give the most conventional answer. How is two players missing in Man City more impressive than multiple & at times even ten key players missing in Liverpool squad but still standing at the top of the table. And in 2019 & 2022 City won by a single point over Liverpool but yet you speak as if others simply fails to keep up with City, it's absurd.
@@Weazla- Yeah, and? I'm not asking him to talk about Chelseas wider season, I'm asking him to comment on reason performances, of which have been decent. He's quick to criticise the manager when they're poor, but absent when they put on good performances.
