There is a significant petroleum infrastructure in Nigeria. In.Port Harcourt. There are two refineries with a capacity 210k, 7 LNG trains, fertiliser and petrochemical plants. Port Harcourt is the leading petroleum hub in Nigeria. I commend the work of the GPH.

There are 4 government refineries in Nigeria with the combined capacity of 450,000 barrels per day that Nigerian politicians killed. Former President Buhari signed a contract 2 years ago to resuscitate the 4 refineries. One is ready and the remaining 3 before the end of the year. BUA group is also building a World Class refinery 200,000 barrels per day in Akwa Ibom State which be ready by the end of the year. Nigeria will have enough for domestic use and the rest to be exported.

Nigeria wins because Ghana petroleum hub will be entangled with corruption. But dangote is private owned without political interference and influence

That proposed Ghana's petroleum hub is just one of those failed-from-the-outset/pie-in-the-sky projects in Ghana. You know, just like the 'proposed' Marine Drive project, the Petronia City, and the big national hole called the National Cathedral, and of course, the dead-from-the-start Accra Sky Train. The thing is, nation building in Ghana is all about empty talk and endless RU-vid videos from Ghana with contents that are conceived to deceive the world and make Ghana look like a significant player on the African continent. The entire Ghanaian written fictional story about some kind of rivalry with Nigeria is all that Ghana can ever have in terms of relevance and clout in the world even though, in real terms, it doesn't help Ghana one bit. It only serves to help Ghana to keep up appearance and save face for a country that makes so much noise but has nothing really to show for it. Côte d'Ivoire. Ghana's next door neighbour is well ahead of Ghana in terms of national development/infrastructure, you would think Ghana should be more concerned about how far behind they are when compared with a peer competitor like Cote D'Ivoire than that ludicrous/ridiculous/hopeless talk of rivalry with Nigeria. To be clear, regarding refineries, forget the big refineries of the Dangotes, the NNPCs, and the BUAs in Nigeria, the reality is that by the time the many small *modular* refineries currently operating in Nigeria and the ones being built come fully on stream, they will produce petroleum products enough to dominate the Ghanaian market.

Why are most Ghanaian so delusional? You are comparing proposed complex in ghana to dangote refinery that is already a reality? Dangote refinery is one of the biggest in the world not just in Africa, dont sabotage the truth because it is nigeria.Bigger than the biggest refinery in Texas united states..Nigeria has four other refineries that would be fully functional this year as well don't forget..
