I'm not sure if his hamstring and later his knee was still an issue during those games he had limited snaps or if it was just a change in philosophy by Matt when it was obvious Dillion wasn't gonna be as productive with the workload he was getting.

The interception off the face mask and Gibbs fumble didn't help their cause. And don't get me started on the inability to put Purdy on the ground. There were two times they had him surrounded like Custer at the Little Big Horn and he slipped out and ran past the LB's for key first downs. It's not like Michael Vick was back there, or even Aaron Rodgers for that matter. Bottom line, the moment was too big for em. That was a team loss all the way. At least when they lost to Dallas in 2014 they had that good-old hometown ref action at Jerry World to pin it on. I just hope they are pissed off enough to do something about it this time around because watching KC and SF play in that SB, all I could think was, the Lions could have beaten either of those teams that night.
