I'm in the UK and Lavrans can stop here on the way to North America Honestly I don't think Lavrans has any need to prove himself further, he'll tour and release a single and a CD and then the whole world wlll be aware of him.

I think Inger Lise deserved to win because her voice is so good, and her control is outstanding from for example Lavrans and Nola. She just was the best singers in my opinion.

Best singer based on what criteria? By reaching the highest notes and being the best technical singer? Its not vocal coaches deciding whats the best voice. Inger Lise chose the predictable boring big ballads to show her range. She dodnt show her as an artist, while Lavrans showed who he was every time and he didnt just sing the song like Inger Lise, he poured his heart and soul out, he made a complete performance every time. He didnt just pick the most popular songs but songs that meant something to him. He was genuine..

@@In_my_own_mindWhat with the song she sang in the semi finals? She have so many sides and can sing so good in so many different register. If that isn't a full artist, then what is a full artist? And she is also singing from her heart, even though she has chosed some high songs.

Lavrans was òften off key. People like him because he is different. There is definitely a market for him to excel in.

Quite simply, Inger Lise entered the competition to win and Lavrans entered the competition to learn (his words) and express his artistry. Both succeeded wildly. But Lavrans fans are more passionate partly because they skew much younger than Inger Lise's fans (passion is for the young!), and this population is more adept at social media (which is why he will always have more views). That is also why I feel Lavrans will ultimately become much much more successful globally than Inger Lise

I'm not young, I didn't get to watch The Voice until it popped up on my screen and I live in England. #LavransSvendsen will be a superstar - at 23 he has his whole future ahead of him.. Such an incredible talent and he learned so much from his mentor - but all four coaches were very impressed with him. I'm even thinking of a trip to Norway to see his first show, so keeping close eye on the social media.

No doubt inger lize have an amazing and wonderful voice and she is more mature in choosing her songs certainly with the corporate with her coach but Lavrans is so special in everything so awesome charisma plus a super vocal, I agree with you for the final the coach and him would choosing a songs more famous like they do in the cross battles (stay and an other love) but for me Lavrans was the special surprise for this year to get the final with only one chair turning (Jarel) Hope he will have a brilliant future he deserve 💙

You are completely wrong about your theories, if anything Inger Lise’s songs was predictable and boring. You also said people didnt remember Lavrans which is also completely wrong. He was the most memorable every time. He showed his genuine self. Inger Lise didnt show herself as an artist even though she has 10 years of experience as being an artist. The one people looked most forward to see/hear every time was Lavrans. Norwegians arent that focused on the songs thats being performed and that they have to be mainstream and outdated. We vote for the ones that touch us and gives us something. Lavrans poured his heart and soul out every time and he performed the stories as if it was written by himself. I think someone did Lavrans a favor (my theory is a record label or someone used money to vote on Inger Lise so that they could get his signature), cause he has been the most popular everywhere for many weeks, so it was ver6 weird he didnt win. The Voice winner contract has been critisized for several years for being very poor, and Lavrans will be signed any way, so this was the best outcome for him. As I have said before. He had allready performed 2 other rock songs and one in the final with his mentor. People loves when he sing the emotional songs, and he always chose songs that has a meaning to him. He is real.

@@TeacherPaulReacts, you are right on the choice of the final song. This morning, I read an article on Inger Lise. I actived the translation Google because it is in norwegian. Inger Lise said that she choosen "the winner takes it all" by Abba. She wanted to do it with a personnal touch. And her coach said to her to change the song and that "I have nothing" by Withney Houston can be the winning song. She did well to listen to her coach.

@@TeacherPaulReacts, and on the choice of "All by myself", people wanted hear to her on this song. For the first live, Inger Lise, on her page FB, wanted that people guess the song that she was going to sing. Many people guessed the song "Never Enough". But many people said "I will Always you" by Withney Houston and "All by myself", cover by Céline Dion. After Adagio, people knew that this kind of song suited to her voice and she could sing them. And the third live, she sang " All by myself'. I think that she sang it to make people happy.

I agree. Inger's singing, though good, was very generic. Her song choices were old standards. And, like the judges on the show, none of them will achieve international recognition, except maybe Epsen, I read he wrote songs for Swift & Beyonce, although I've never heard of him. 🤷‍♀️ Lavrans' singing, on the other hand, was riveting, passionate, and very unique. He gave every song new life, new meaning. I literally got goosebumps on my goosebumps. I have no doubt he will become an international sensation. ✨️💖

Remember SuBo - Susan Boyle? Came second in the UK talent show Britains Got Talent? Look at the career she went on to have - not winning is no barrier to future success IF you are as talented as ~LavransSvendsen
