Michael shannon is literally the most underrated actor in Hollywood. Every role hes starred on was a labor of love in a way. Dude deserves more than two SAG awards, dude deserves a damn oscar
@Michael Moore actually. No. He does show some similarities between roles, but that's because of his accent, kinda hard to change a northern accent. For a good example of where it works, watch the iceman. Based off a guy from New Jersey, which works with his accent. He is also a very well character actor imo
@@zacharymesimer9441 A lot of it has to do with the directors too I'm guessing. Seems like every film Jeff Nichols film stars Michael Shannon. I'm not complaining though! Wondering if that new movie The Quarry is worth watching (Shannon is in that too, looks similar to the Waco series). The reviews are pretty mixed as of right now though. Michael Shannon is the man.
I love our Chi-town boy! He hung out with my brother for hours one night at the Old Town Ale House. Super cool. Super funny. And an incredible actor! Great interview. Thanks! 🤘💕
From Nocturnal Animals and The Shape of Water to rediscovering him from earlier stuff, I knew I really really liked this man. I did not know I LOVED this man. But now I do. Great stuff in this video :'D
You gotta see him in "The Night Before"...a small but really funny and pivotal role. Fun fact, he worked in the same tropical fish store that I did in my hometown, but a few years after I had moved away.
i love Michael Shannon. wbeeycmovie he is in, he makes better. his performances are superb. the nuance he fuves his characters wint allow you to forget him
Just shows what a great actor he is in that he generally plays really intense and sometimes evil characters yet here he is a total goofball, it is just more evidence that the nicest people play evil characters the best.
Awesome. MS one of my favorite actors. Great sense of humor and great taste in music too (check out his Amoeba What's In My Bag interview). My favorite movies he's done are Take Shelter and The Iceman, and his character Mr. Green the pot-dealing angel from The Night Before is a hilarious cameo. The ending scene of that movie is fantastic. Stay well everybody.
