Today is my 21st bday and I have decided to surrender my life Jesus Christ our Savior. This is my best birthday ever!! ❤❤❤

My husband was abused physically and had cancer as a child, when i met him he stuttered so bad he could barely state his name. Today he speaks clearly, is cancer free, and a great father to both our children. The victory belongs to Jesus!!❤❤❤HES ALL I NEED!!!✝✝✝✝✝✝🙏🙏🙏

My father was never at home. He was an alcoholic . He was never home. My mum was a single mum trying to raise 5 children by herself. At home my sisters and I never had a father figure to help our mother protect us. When I first heard this song I realised that my mother never really need my biological dad. My mother always went to church and had faith in the one true father. The lyrics "In my fathers house, there's a place for me, I'm a child of God, yes I am." really hit home for me. The Lord is my father. He was there to help guide my mother through the tough times we had growing up. Whether it was not enough food or no shelter for protection. I love you God, and I thank you so much for everything you've done for me and my family.

I used to live my whole life in the darkness. I used to mock Jesus and all of His followers when I was still an atheist. I used to believe that I didn't need anyone in my life. I tore my Bible years ago because I hated the idea of God so much. I can't believe that this was me before - a person who never had the chance to know who God really is until I found Him. I am so happy I found Jesus now. I never turned back ever again when I found Him in that same place. His grace cured me and His love saved me from myself so truly I tell you, God can heal anyone. 😊

worshiping God as a teen was something that I would not regret. he lifted me high evenwhen I doubted him

I'm crying so much... the past few years I have almost gone homeless multiple times. I was almost murdered by one of my friends with an axe. And now I'm living with another friend who's family has made rumors about me being crazy because my mom is mentally ill.... I constantly feel trapped like theres nowhere for me to go. And no where is home. Even while paying rend and helping with Bill's. I am unwelcome.... but this song.... this song hits me so hard. That even while all of this happened. Nearly homeless durring the pandemic. He has a place for me. Where I am welcomed. And loved. I love god so much. I'm still so blessed. He loves me so much..

I am listening to this and crying out to God. There is this pain that is unbearable. I don’t want this pain, don’t want these chains, all i know is I’m feeling faint, from all these bondage. Frail and weak, feeling like no one understood. I came here when I had exhausted other means. Tried confiding tried coping in toxic ways, like an itch I can’t scratch. Like a burden that is crashing, like I’m drowning, like I am crushed beneath bricks, like I am all alone. And I thought of this song. And that assurance makes me cry, makes me cry out to God. My Father. He has been standing there, all this while. I am still feeling al these layers of emotions but I know even when I am backsliding, God whispers. He lets me know He is there. All these Grace I can receive. I hope I can encourage someone. Turn our eyes to God.

I am 13 years old and I just raised my hand in worship for the first time. I was in my youth group and we were singing this song. God has been asking me to raise my hand in worship for a few months now, but I was always too shy to do it, I thought people would stare but when I did, ni one really noticed, which was a relief for me. On Wednesday when I had youth group we were singing this song, and God was asking me to please raise my hand, I didn't want to but at the same time I did. So I said in my head "make me," and he did. I was looking around the auditorium while singing this song because I have ADHD, and I saw someone on their phone, during the worship. That really upset me and my singing started to fade until I was quiet. I stared at the feet on a girl in the worship team, and then God said "It's time, my child." I started singing again and slowly raised my hand, and started singing passionately.

I’m trying to hide it from everyone else because my friends are also having thoughts like that, and I’m trying to comfort them instead of me, I care about them way more. Had an emotional break this past week. God meet me again and healed my heart. He gave me the victory over the lies of fear and terror. And this time, once and for all. Now I have peace, strength and joy. Listening to this, I know I will never be that sad again. I know I'm loved, confidente and secure in God's hand. So, let the devil know not today. Not now. My parents separated when I was just 9, my sisters and I had to rely on our immediate relatives for safety at that age. I feared staying in our house coz it was a bit far, my relatives would chase us out of their house abruptly and it was always sad for me, I dreaded those moments and used to cry a lot whenever we would be thrown out. I was made to believe that I didn't deserve sharing life with them. When I listen to this song I feel loved and appreciated by God. In my father's house there is a place for me, I am not forsaken and I am a child of God.

At our school, we would always play this song for chapel last year. It was one of my favorite songs that we played. They only played it last year and every time they would play this song, everyone would surround each other with our arms around each other with our eyes closed worshiping and I would love it so much it would make me cry.
