He’s been doing this for so long, he goes from the top of the seat, all the way down, and pulls the thigh extensions out so smooth and effortlessly lol
I don’t see how this would correlate in the dealership world ! I mean yes maybe if you use this as your pitch people would go for it but 99% of the time you would not need to do any of this to sell your inventory lmao
@@dat_slowb58-66 it’s really about the distillation of if info. Most people want to know then differences in a car like this at this pricepoint. There’s no need to provide super technical spec like measurements, tire size, software info: most of it’s online and a BMWAudi/Porsche buyer isn’t looking to interact with a teacher at first meet. Charisma helps too.
Unfortunately its gotten worse its rubbery and the engine is tuned for the dual clutch transmission while the manual feels like it was an afterthought.
Modern pocket rockets are cool for putting down dyno numbers but theyre always missing the close ratio manual box and the "grippy, tight but weightless" drivefeel of the classics. Glad to hear they actually let you drive this one. Unfortunately it weighs the same as an m4 so im out.
@ATF- lol. That's what they all say about bmws but mine has been super reliable even when I broke my valve cover and leaked all the oil without me knowing and I drove it like that without oil for 3 weeks . Thing had no oil and in 104 summer heat and nothing happened to my engine. . Now I really know for a fact that bmws are just hated by people who can't afford them
@@ATF- Only when they are over 15 years old. You really don't know what you're talking about. I've owned 3 Bmw's for years each. Still have an x3 now. Whenever i drive my infiniti fx35 i just wanna throw up from how inferior it is to the x3. I had an rs5 v8, and eventhough it was nice and fancy and sounded good, it was nothing compared to even my old tuned 335i let alone an m3 e92 or an m2. I drove it hard everyday for 6 years barely any maintenance requirements. The rs5 was at the shop every 2 months. Pissed me off like hell. All m2's and the old 1M are true driver's cars. Nothing compares except porsche.
btw, that dash for the bmw is up to date and top notch, not like other companies that use 'enthusiastic/nostalgic' tech to keep it outdated and cheap for them.
The one with the absolutely horrific grille(M4) is dominating the Motorsport world, but you're Americans so you have little to no knowledge what that even means
@@zc1682 g80/g82 are 10x better looking...the grill is irrelevant now.. this g87 m2 is trash unless you get a body kit from adro or something if they make one
I personally think this is worse looking than the older M2s. However, I am biased because I own a previous generation 2 series. I will say that this looks so much better than the new M4, i4, or the iX(which I think may be the ugliest new BMW). Why does an EV need such a big, ugly grille?
The highest compliment I still have though is the styling. It’s not as BMW as it once was, and the previous generation still looks more in-character (and better). Once that’s fixed, it’s a worthy successor to the previous generation.
Common misconception: Bigger brakes don’t always mean better braking, because you can only brake as much as the tires can. So hypothetically, if the small disc brakes from a bike were able to lock up the tires and modulate around that point, it would brake just as good as brakes that can barely fit in there. What bigger brakes do better though, is heat, and brake fade
Are you an engineer? You just said brakes don't always mean better braking and then in a long winded explanation showed how bigger brakes indeed do mean better braking
Yeah smaller brakes would work for everyday applications, but this is a M2, it's supposed to be run on track and go between full throttle and full braking - it matters
The M2 has always been a great car because you get the engine of a bigger car and the weight of a small sports car… the problem is the suspension is so stiff, you feel every bump on the road and you start to hear rattles and noises in the cabin within weeks of owning it. Great weekend car to drive up a mountain pass but not as a daily commuter.
“And a backseat, for legless passengers” So true tho! It’s like when I was in my friends Alfa Romeo that’s targeted for up to 5 people… I could barely get out of the car
This guy is actually so smart. When he said it has the same engine as the M4 he could have said same engine as M3. But he didn’t it gives the elision that it is better than M3 but in reality we know it’s now. Bottom line is this guy helps out companies when it comes to selling.
This is probably like the camaro-corvette case, both had the same engine and same power but it was measured in a different way, so more people would buy the corvette when the camaro was as fast
BMW always underestimate the power that their cars produce. I've seen an M5 competition producing 652hp on carwow when they put it on the dyno. And BMW says it has 617hp to 625hp. But that just proves how good and fast they are. And they're definitely the best German cars for drifting. No other German car brand can make a car like a BMW that drifts, handles and feels powerful 🔥💯
Hey Forrest, just wanna say that I work in a Port that Loads Vessels with cars and these are one of the models we load. These some very good looking combinations of this exact Model!
brake size doesnt really contribute to stopping power, only the width size of your tires effect stopping power the most. upgraded brakes are mainly for better cooling and reliability
