My journey through this season of Beste Zangers keeps getting better! What other non-Floor songs do you want me to react to next?

You're going to love the remainder of Floor's performances - there isn't a weak link among them! As for the other performers, I suggest you find the entire episode that Floor was in the "hot seat" and react to it all at once. Every one of those performances were gold as well, plus you'll get a feel for how an episode goes. I really wish they would do a show like this here in the US, but it seems that here it has to be a freaking competition, and I hate that. Can't we just appreciate music for its sheer beauty? It seems like these talent shows have closed the door on shows like Beste Zangers.

As someone else once said, Most singers sing what they can, Floor sings whatever the hell she wants.

Floor also sings this in duet with Tim Akkerman (the rock singer), it's a version closer to the original (Lady Gaga does it with Bradley Cooper in the movie) And Phantom of the Opera with Henk is her other duet, all of them have 2 duets in the final episode

Vivo per Lei with Henk and Emma is awesome. In fact just go and watch the whole last show up to its grand finale, all the duets were awesome.

Watching the whole episodes with English subtitles is the best because you see all of the conversations. Emma is a RU-vid cover artist with 2.5 million RU-vid subscribers. So Floor sing Shallow because Emma covered it.

She is a master of her craft. You have singers you have professional singers she is a master of the craft and a vocal coach as well

Nice and legit react Jimmy. It's what triggers emotions, doesn't it? Floor is an incredible humble and down to earth woman. Absolutely averse to diva tendencies! Allready seen her solo show in januari. Could not keep it dry with some of her songs. Performance out of this world. Sang her own song, Strong, very emotional for her, and she was barely able to withhold her tears.

You look MUCH better without the sunglasses. You have very warm eyes, downright beautiful. It completely changes the way people see you.

You also need to watch Emma Heesters sing Strong for Floor, Floor wrote this song for her mother when she was still a teenager but has a hard time singing it herself cuz she gets all chocked up when singing it

Yes Floor always does her research and picks the perfect song to fit her. She is an outstanding talent and the true professional. There are a lot of great singers and performers in the world of music but off the top of my head I can't think of anyone as good as Floor.

i love her as a human and as a artist from day to day more....but i also miss that beast from Wacken live on stage.

A wonderful next step, apart from Beste Zangers, could be a double feature: „How’s the Heart“ from Nightwishs current album. Beside the lyric video (which is awesome), there is an acoustic version with only Floor, Troy and his guitar. I‘d suggest to do the lyric video first and then the acoustic version. Will gibe you more and more shivers.

Unbelievable but I can’t get enough of hearing and watching Floor’s performances. I would love to see your reaction on the more softer side of Nightwish. It is a jazzy song that suits the Southern States' temperament and a completely different music style. Here we see a completely different side of Floor. We admire her sensual side and her amazing ability to transmit emotions through music.

Hi Jimmy, Thanks again for a wonderful reaction. I could actually see you have all the emotions, more or less in parallel to myself, BTW. Love it! Although Floor really puts Lady Gaga on a pedestal, IMO there is no comparison. I've heard Lady Gaga sing this a few times live, and Floor just does it seriously better. And yes, she researches everything and everybody, more so than others, her being a perfectionist. This is also true for the emotions she wants to portray and get across in a song, which is why she does a little cry, shiver, or vibrato, with her voice when it suits the song, or anything else for that matter. She really is a master at that, and she also rehearses it until it is perfect and automatic. She puts the feelings she perceives across like no one else can. That, IMO, is the reason why she touches our souls, and we keep on experiencing goosebumps, full body shivers, tears, and everything else that goes with that. I just love her for that. Kindest regards, Wim P.S.: As to other performances: Henk Poort also performs "Vincent", in a perfectly translated Dutch version. However, even when you do not understand the words, I think it is a great performance by the old Master, Henk Poort. Possibly something to look at too.

We're all a little bit in love with her....

My understanding is that prior to this show, Floor was relatively unknown in the Netherlands. Yeah .. metal heads etc. knew of her but only Tim knew her from festivals etc. .. the rest? Nope .. not at all. To be completely fair, Floor for example says she didn't know Samantha. Now .. this is NOT the case. The Dutch all of a sudden realized that they had a Super Star they hadn't know of.

She does this with Tim also in this show as a duet. Worth checking out

Emma is "freakinn awesome", Floor and Henk duet is phenomenal but do not skip Emma and Henk because it is just as good. Note for the record Floor has no equal in my opinion.

Floor does a beautiful and emotion version of this song. Floor sing this song one key higher than Gaga. Emma's version is actually better than Gaga. Great job Jimmy! Peace.
