I watched Shogun because Emily had mentioned working on it. HOLY MOLY! Probably the best show this year. Proud of the Doughboy universe of friends making the best shows on tv!

if she saw stardust, that means it was the summer of 2007, which means she didn't see the second bourne movie, the bourne supremacy (2004), she saw the third bourne movie, the bourne ultimatum (2007) edit: ok they figured it out. but the other thing they alluded to was when tarantino couldn't show the hateful eight in the one movie theater it was created for because disney demanded the cinerama dome show the force awakens instead, and the spineless arclight did whatever disney asked. and now they're out of business and tarantino bought the vista edit #2: no, the simpsons movie didn't open on 7/7/07. it opened at the end of july, which makes its #2 spot at the top of august disappointing, which makes sense because it was a disappointing movie
It's worth noting when Nick talks about organic grocers and unions, Trader Joe's has many stores across several states unionizing, and currently their legal team has joined Bezos & Musk in arguing the NLRB and all union protections in the country are unconstitutional. If Trader Joe's has its way, there will be no unions in the US including for teachers and nurses. This is from a privately owned business that made over 10 Billion dollars last year.
