Sorry but not everyone can stomach 99 cent garbage loaded with sugar, salt and fat. Of course it's going to taste better to the average person, it has addictive substances in it, doesn't mean it's good for you though.
It's so nice to see how unbiased Rhett and link are at this game. They eat the food and not only have trouble telling the difference, but often enough enjoy the cheaper one a lot better anyway. Other youtubers would've been snobs about it and would imply the 99 cent store's stuff is like peasant food. Their humbleness is a nice gesture
That’s why I shop at Aldi. Great quality, half the price, still in date, and not many preservatives etc. still have to watch some labels but not too bad.
Aldi is where I go to get things like nuts. Walnuts, etc. Dead cheap there, while other places just about take you out back and draw blood as payment when you buy nuts.
HEXONE just know Whole Foods is like... the $100 store lmfao vs the 99cent store... it’s an example because I haven’t been to Whole Foods in decades, but even a muffin was like $8 in 1999 at Whole Foods
This is really random but after seeing so many people online today say "I could care less" when they _mean_ they *couldn't* care less, I just wanna give you props for using the right one.
Rhett and Link mashing their breakfast burritos together is the summation of every awkward, vaguely homoerotic interaction they've might've accidentally had over the years
The only difference is the type of preservative they put on the fruit and vegetables. The more expensive places they put a waxy coating which preserves the item for a lot longer. That is the only difference unless they have a farmers section from an actual local farm.
Attn GMM: Please make a weekly behind-the-scenes cooking segment and then a cookbook with all your successful recipes!! From the thanksgiving hacks to "will it?", you've had some smashing meals.
Herpes is only contageous when a blister is broken out on the lip, otherwise it is not. Or else every single person they've ever kissed or shared food with would have herpes and that's not the case.
Watching last Thursday's episode gave me an idea. You guys should make a “Will It Waffle?” episode! Just stuff random food in that waffle maker! And making a complimentary sauce/syrup would be a good idea too!
University student: Successful cooking is a matter of trial and error. You just need a bit of imagination, internet access , your mum's recipes and mates with a solid stomach 😌
GeoHikingJani well ok, now I am trained as a chef and I cook at home with both Whole Foods items AND cheaply stuff together. It usually works out very well. However ethical reasons and stuff like that would make a lot of people not want to buy dollar store chicken etc. and those are the differences- factory farming vs free ranges, or preservatives vs natural
I love this video! It really shows you can’t always tell the difference. Most of my meals are using all ingredients from the 99 Cents Only Stores! I’ve even made dishes for friends and coworkers and they can never tell they are “dollar store” meals
Rayne Schroeder as a poor person, can confirm the meat sucks. Makes me surprised they didn't get every single one right since it's noticeably different in taste
Great video! By the way, anyone else having problems of video's not showing up in their subscription box? I only have this issue with video's from GMM...
I always feel when I go into a Whole Food's market that they have overpriced 99.9 % of there items. Coincidence that we have a competition with a 99 cent store?
I totally agree...why are inorganic cucumbers under a dollar at Krogers and near $2 at While Foods. A 100% increase in price. Oh yea...local farms, but how do I know that they didn't come from the same source?
I have never wanted food more than I have watching this video alone. That Cobb salad looked good, the breakfast burrito looked amazing, that teriyaki stir fry… Oh my god I should not be watching this at 12:25 AM
Most of the time organic foods/ the food that Whole Foods sell will not taste better then the regular version because it is not made with artificial ingredients, which are used to make foods more appealing to those who buy them. Whole Foods sells these things because there are a lot of people who are genuinely concerned about what they put in their bodies, whether or not the change in food will have an affect on their health. Whole Foods is also good for people with allergies, I have a friend who is allergic to eggs, dairy, and nuts making finding good food for that person very hard, so we do get their birthday cake from Whole Foods, it might not taste as good, but at least they can enjoy their birthday. So for most people, Whole Foods is a rip-off but for others its a really good place to shop.
You may have insomnia but the people replying clearly don't lol just bc you stay up till 3 am watching RU-vid doesn't mean insomniac. But I have no place to assume, just keep that in mind
