Dear Nikki, Your 6 zones is a brilliant idea which I will definitely be incorparating in my zone cleaning as well! Thank you for your motivating progress, not perfection videos.🤗
You are so inspiring to me!! I just restarted flylady, and my anxiety is starting to go away as far as not having some kind of routine! i love your little vacuum for the couch!! Also, a 6th zone is such a good thing to have to catch all the other rooms!! Thank you for the printables!!
I love your videos and am so thankful you are willing to share your printables! I also agree with the stainless steel comment about the toaster, especially that tray. We keep a piece of aluminum foil wrapped around that tray so there is less mess and it’s so much easier to clean!
I really enjoy watching your videos, it has helped me to start thinking outside the box by really personalizing my own schedule and routines ❤ thank you for your insight! Have a blessed day💕
Great video - full of really helpful ideas and inspiration. Congratulations to you and your son on his graduation - from one homeschooling mama to another😊
I just love your videos! Ive said it before but your way of doing things just makes sense in my brain. I would love to see more breakdowns of your routines as you get to them! I find that I'm inconsistent with daily type tasks. I do better focusing on a room at a time but seem to be inconsistent for some reason. I like your idea of "9 things in a zone" and feel this is a more tangible goal for me. I do better when someone just tells me what to do. If it's left to me to decide I just won't do it lol. I'm definitely going to try your ideas out!!❤
I love that you help me recognize that not all routines work for everyone. That is something I have been struggling with. Thank you for sharing your zone cleaning lists. I have PPP home planner and not all the boxes get checked off. I am making progress.
I have tweaked Flylady as well. As my WHB I just do a quick vacuum and a quick mop in the main living areas, trash and sheets. I do dusting and mirrors as part of my zone cleaning. My dust doesn’t seem to accumulate too fast so once a month works. For my zones I have my tasks listed by monthly, quarterly, semiannual and annual. This is working pretty well and at the end of the year I will assess the situation and perhaps move some things around if I don’t need to do them as frequently. But I like what you have done with your lists!
I never able to get to a good cleaning routine. I have done zone clearing in the past and of course got side tracked and stopped. I usually pick up and vacuum and never really get down to the grime, I find myself getting involved everywhere and nothing gets done
Thank you! And, yes, I do try to keep it real. I totally understand going back and forth between task and zone. I think I just get bored and feel the need to change it up every now and then.
Great video - thank you so much! I feel the same way regarding how to incorporate certain tasks into my general system without feeling overwhelmed! Question: when you made your task list using the PPP planner did you look at the tasks assigned weekly throughout the year or the weekly tasks printed each week throughout the calendar - or both?
I used the tasks that are on the Weekly Home Project Schedule at the front. Each of those is also listed each week righ under the daily checklist in the PPP Planner. I also added some of my own and skipped the ones that I didn't want. I hope that helps.
