Well, this time we played Whole Wide World from The Rolling Stones' new album. This song is included in their studio album, which was released last year for the first time in 18 years.
We've already featured two songs from this Hackney Diamond.
I've been a fan of the Stones for a long time, and I'd like to play some of their older songs, but the songs on this new album by them are also very exciting, so I decided to pick them up from this album again.
They were in their late 70s when they recorded this, and I find it very powerful and energetic, belying their age.
Ron Wood's guitar is very prominent in this song.
He seems to be very active on this album.
This seems to be influenced by the opinions of this album's producer, Andrew Watt.
Either way, I'm very happy about it.
I think Keith is mainly playing the right channel in the studio version. I watched their live performance and used a Gibson 335 for this part.
And I think Ronnie is the one who plays the good guitar, mainly playing the left channel, lead guitar, and other additional guitars, sometimes it's the right channel.
Again, I used a Fender Stratocaster based on the video of their live performance of this song in New York.
My wife sings the vocals. As always, I, Ryo, play all the instruments other than the guitar and drums.
