(2003) Mavis' obnoxious mother (Diahann Carroll) is surprisingly well-mannered due to her prescription medication, but then the pills accidentally get tossed.
@@brandinojames95 that’s where she’s reminding me from! She’s sassy from that film and also Ghost! If only her sister act costars had a cameo right? In different roles of course lol
I’m like everyone else, I never heard of this show. Seems it was a 90’s show. I was very busy in that decade so maybe that’s why. I love Whoopi in everything she did.
I LOVE this show!!!! ANd Diahann Carroll was great at playing Mavis' mother. I can relate to this episode, my family has spent years trying to put me on medication because as my parents have put it, "son, you are a good man, but you are always acting like a fuckin BITCH and that's why people are afraid of you and dislike you." LOL
Wow why didn't i know about this show. It is hilarious, i haven't stopped laughing since the show started. The cast is great i don't which one i like best. They are perfect together. When did this come out and what was i doing that i never knew anything about? My favorite new sitcom...
Whoopi has disappointed me. When she said you have to be black to understand racism. I'm Puerto Rican and I am sure other races understand what racism is. After she said that her collogues checked her which Whoopi did not like. She became angry that someone dared to disagree with her and began to get loud. She finally walked off stage becasue she realized that she made herself look foolish with that remark. She seems to have a lot of anger regarding racism and believes it is just against black folk. I have seen black folk put down white people for no reason. Racism is everywhere and in every country. Black people happened to be the ones that have get on the media and speak out about it. I have seen dark black people jealous of light skinned black people. It is crazy. Gypsies catch hell in their country also. I don't see too many wealthy people of any color come out and mingle with their own people. As soon as they get wealthy they move out and rarely go back. Some of the newer rappers have been shown on t.v. going back to the hood. I don't know how much it is for publicity is or because they want to give back. I saw a video where some of these rappers have never been in a gang. They just act it so they can sell their music.
Shirley drop this person. He's a user. Shirley walk away and don't look back. This person wants people to feel sorry for him. He wants people to pay for his lawyer and needs a place to stay. Let him go with Sonya. Give her the problem
