pro tip: if you send out max stat dwellers + 25 stimpaks + 10 radaways and wait for 3 days, they will most likely bring back legendary scraps + 10k caps
Still kinda new. Not looking into optimising my playthrough (just going casual optimal) is rads really that important on excavations? I just send them out with 25 stim. Does it effect their stats or something?
@@teateline9659 well if rads reaches full health they will die so it is always worth packing some Radaway for a trip into the wasteland. thanks for the comment
One time I had a dweller that was just chilling and walking around for like a week straight. It may have taken her 4 days to walk back but she didn't die once and she brought me 4,000 caps and to fuckload of junk that I ended up selling most of
you can revive them for 1000 caps and more than likely being out there for 2 days she is gonna bring back more than 10k caps, so its worth letting her die. I send my dwellers out to come back with full inventorys or until they die, then I revive them and bring them back
You most certainly can unless you're running on survival mode in which case dead means dead! If you're going for max HP for a dweller then they need E10+E7 outfit and send them out a lvl1 they'll also almost never die before they come back laden with goodies, thanks for the comment
Yes. And Endurance busts max hp only when they level up. So, train 10 endurance, dress dweller in survival suit +7 endurance and level him or her to level fifty from level one.
@@KnowitallGamingThat is why its important to have a Pet with you in case in survival mode that your dweller died, the pet can carry back all of your items and even what they used to wear.
I remember giving a guy just 22 stimpaks and pushed him out. He got back in combat armor, armed with laser rifle, and level 9. Zero to hero right when he grew up. That's some Fallout 3 kind of plot💀
Not too long ago when one of my dwellers out exploring died it wouldn’t let me revive him (not survival mode) and everything that was in his inventory disappeared
On normal mode you shouldn't get deathclaws until your pop hits 60 (35 for survival) so kick out dwellers till you have 59 if they're crushing your vault thanks for the comment
🤣 or even better only send lvl1 max SPECIAL dwellers with E+7 Heavy Wasteland gear on and they never die and become Uber max HP lvl50 dwellers on their return 😉
From my experience if you send a level 0 maxed special dweller with heavy wasteland gear, they should reach maximum carry capacity before they die and come back with around 20k caps
I had a guy out there for like 4 days and he was like level 30. He was wearing x01 power armor, using fat man, and alien drone. All his stats were maxed though
@@KnowitallGaming i lost my entire base trying to fight an 3 room fire, it went from 30 pop to 6, 4 were pregnant women, and 2 were my high levels i sent on an quest with half my stim packs, it was only after everyone died did i remember to bring back my high levels, it was my best survival base as well with full resources.
My dweller in xo1 with a tuned plasma rifle Sargent Arch Dornan lasted 21 hours and 58 minutes and killed alot of deathclaws which has been a problem lately not only for the exploration dwellers but the vault got 3 deathclaw raids in a row but he killed a bunch of deathclaws then died a minute after by taking 2 hp of bleeding
I sent a guy out for over 5 years and had to work for like 3 months to get enough caps to revive him and i still havent gone back to the game to let him back in the vault
Guessing the only wat that was possible was you stopped playing the game lol. As an explorer will collect 100 items after 3 to 4 days of exploring, so the current maximum time is about 100 hours. Thanks for the comment
Best is MAX SPECIAL at lvl1 with E+7 Legendary wasteland gear your dweller will come back at lvl50 with the max possible HP of 644 thanks for the comment
@@erwinguzman8878 in normal mode you can revive in survival mode you can’t and on mobile you can use ads on normal mode not on console or Steam on PC that option is not available as there are no ads
To be fair if you send a max SPECIAL dweller with E+7 Heavy Wasteland Gear they should auto return when full of loot and have gone from lvl1 to lvl50 and not die 😎 thanks for the comment
Do you guys actually wait days at a time? Just go in your settings, date and time, set it to a later date, when they die just revive them for 1k, they’ll bring back way more than that anyway so it doesn’t matter then just set time ahead again and there you just did 5 days of work in 2 minutes.
@@KnowitallGaming nah to fix that you just set your time forward past it finish it then set it back and you’re back to normal and fine to continue normal playing. I’ve been doing it for years and I’ve never had any issues with it at all try it out dude, there’s no reason to be waiting hours
Ahh yes although an even better pet is American short hair cat legendary 46-50% more caps. Or Pouncer the cat 91-100% more junk! Thanks for the comment
Started a vault in 2016 and played for a year then put it down. Picked the game back up the other day and my wasteland explorer has been dead for 8 years.
Pro Tip:Give A Level 10 or lower guy Max Stimpaxs and Radaways and great weapon it will likely last for 4-9 days cuz it max out its health when leveling up😊
Nope... Pro Tip: Send out a lvl1 dweller at max SPECIAL's equipped with E+7 Legendary endurance wear they will return before dying at lvl50 with the max possible of 644HP and full of loot because of the E17 Thanks for the comment though 🙂
A Max SPECIAL lvl1 dweller with E+7 gear should return full of loot and be at lvl50 within a few days. It is how I create Uber dwellers. Thanks for the comment
Lol best move is to literally give them the best gear.. max stims.. max rads.. the send them out and forget.. then next day or two or 3.. u revive and recall them.. but this is really “end game “ strat.. cause early game caps are harder/slower to amass… my vault dwellers wear death and resurrection as a badge of honor.. 😂
I always thought there should be a mode in this game on hard where if a dweller dies they really do die along with any equipment or anything else they gather Same thing in the vault if they die they die
It’s called survival mode 😎 it has perma death 💀 I have survival mode content as well can be brutal I lost my whole quest squad on a quest only way to keep loot if dwellers die is to ensure they have pets equipped. Thanks for the comment
Bobby morgan sent him with ncr veteran ranger outfit and an enhanced gauss rifle 20 stimpacks and 15 radaway low stats level 50 and he went 2 days, i was proud of him
New dwellers stop fairly quickly after starting a new vault. You’ll need to make dwellers pregnant or get a radio Studio to attract new dwellers from the wasteland. Thanks for the comment
Surprised the dweller didn’t auto return after that amount of time as once they max out their items they head back to the vault! Thanks for the comment
They do indeed lvl1 E 1-50 = A dweller will have 252HP at lvl 50. lvl10 E with E+7 Legendary Wasteland gear lvl1-50 will have 644HP at lvl50 Thanks for the comment
Only played this game for three days and uninstalled when a radroach infestation killed all 24 dwellers. Used all my stimpaks and money. Lever actions and laserpistols and combat armor didn't mean squat.
You can yes and the pet will haul all the stuff back as well or you can revive the dweller unless you’re on survival mode of course then they’re dead dead lol 😂
I left a dweller out side for 4 months and he Never died cuz I gave him all my stuff but he was very very very low and his doggy died a while before he made it back😔
I would love to have a professional provide audio description and professional subtitles sadly being a 1 man band that doesn’t make enough money from his content I can’t. Thanks for the comment
Question if you don’t play the game or a long time does all the bad stuff that’s supposed to happen stack up or did I just have bad luck the last time I started it back up ?
@@KnowitallGaming alright cool now I’ll go back to it again. Cause last time I swear started it up clicked on all my stuff to collect it let my guys back in and then got raided rad roaches mole rats rad scorpions and death claws one right after the other non stop and had to revive a lot of people I’ve got max dwellers I remember that cause I had to exile a few to let in some main characters that showed up. I got I’m drawing a blank the DJ from Fallout 3 I got him Edit: three dog
Hehe! If you send out a lvl1 dweller with max SPECIAL and E+7 Endurance wear with 25 stims and 25 radaways you'll never need to revive them and they will return to the vault with max HP 😉 thanks for the comment
@KnowitallGaming I send them out with power armour and gatling lasers with max special stats, then skip a week on my phones clock, log back in collect my weekly lunchbox and rinse and repeat, I also do this for all waiting times missions, resources, crafting etc it's a good strat
@@micahfrempong1600 yeah I don't cheese as this is on Bluestacks on the PC so can't manipulate time although careful you don't get the million day issue 🙃 you'll still not get max HP for your dwellers as Power Armours are strength & perception only T-60F gives +5 Endurance still not +7E
I remember I sent one Person and they survive for a whole weak. And I only sent them out with one stem And 2 rataways And dating and bring back Jack s*** Only one piece of clothing and 5 lever action rifles
What a dweller is able to get is very dependent on SPECIAL’s it is best to send a dweller out at max special with E+7 endurance wear so they return at lvl 50 with max HP
🤣 You're not wrong although, a max SPECIAL dweller at lvl1 with a great weapon and E7 endurance wear should return at lvl50 without dying at max HP of 644HP to boot lol 😂
Correct it is best to send a dweller into the wasteland at lvl 1 at max SPECIAL plus E+7 gear so E17 to get max HP of 644 vs 230HP for lvl1 E thanks for the comment
@@KnowitallGaming i wanna ask for example i have max special and lvl 50 dweller did atk stat on weapon have any impact to damage? Cuz it seem like the same to me im so confuse
@@banhuwa6695 if a weapon does 15 to 19 damage it means on overage it will on average do 17 damage. Damage averages are calculated by subtracting the min from the max, then dividing the difference by 2 to get x and then add x to the min. To simplify this calculation, add the min value to the max value and then divide by 2.
I’d scrolled the log back as far as it goes episode here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jWovLx3rMZY.htmlsi=ivHSerr0U5DOHJIK Thanks for the comment
If you're on survival mode and have perma death as long as you have a pet equipped the pet will bring back the stuff. On normal mode you can revive the dweller, or same as above if not lol. Thanks for the comment
This reminds me my guy “lucky shoeman” has been wondering for like 2 weeks on my Xbox😅 yes that’s a randomly generated name he came with a biker jacket and he’s very lucky so maybe he found the new hellfire power armor lol jk he dead af
