My husband and I took it, because our doctor recommended it. Our son and his family also took it--they were happy and relieved to get a vaccine for the virus. Most everyone we know took it.
@@Cindybin46 it wasn’t a vaccine until the CDC changed the definition to remove immunity from the definition. I wouldn’t be happy getting a “less severe case” of rabies, hepatitis or polio… those, along with the seasonal flu vaccine, had to immunize. Also my ex-husband had a reaction to the MMR vaccine and all the doctors recommend he get the vaccine and “see what happens” and he couldn’t speak or remember a month of his life, then I never saw the old him ever again… he never got his personality or brain back.
I hope you challenged that fine in court. In Australia, without fail, every time one of these fines were challenged, they were dropped... because they were illegal.
I am current on everything except flu (took more sick days after the shots than without) and never took the COVID shots. Oh, my doctor thinks I need the shingles vaccine but I am debating it.

He got them around his eye and forehead and he was in considerable pain and it was full force over 2 months and it's been 4 and still hasn't got full feeling in the spot. The shingles vaccine is a real vaccine based on actual science we've understood forever. Obviously make the decision for yourself, but it isn't like the jab.
I have a golf buddy who just got over a bout with cov id after suffering through a fever and all the other symptoms for nearly 2 weeks straight. I offered him my ivermectin to help him but he had been so thoroughly brainwashed by the left wing media, he refused it. Like most places, we have a nursing shortage. I commented to my sister, a retired nurse, that bringing back unvaccinated nurses with natural immunity/antibodies would help. She informed me "nurses don't have natural immunity". I asked if she got the chicken pox vaccine. "No, I had that as a kid". "Isn't that natural immunity?" We haven't spoken since.

You may be correct, however I firmly believe that off label Rx for animals was an attack by veterinarians, on local and small farmers to force additional service payments from them. Why wouldn't this government go for something like that? They already ordered enough cattle to be euthanize, in the name of climate, to have fed a few states worth of people for a while! My whole family pretty much disowned me because I didn't take the jab or allowed my son to get it. And now all of them are sick and still mad at me because I didn't fight harder to make them not take it.

Yup. It is referred to as, “ off label use”, which is trendy way to say, holly smokes, it helps defend/do against something else. The most recent classic is heart meds for ED. I never got the jab and never got the coup, even though many around me did. You’d think science would like to see or know way, maybe draw some blood and look for the antibodies.
I have been surprised over the years what drugs our pets get that were originally people drugs, too. Amoxicillin is a good example. Also Gabapentin. (That's what I give my VERY nervous cat when he has to go to the vet!) The dosing is different, of course, but let's not forget drugs are tested on animals before being approved for people!

I was completely healthy until my employer, a big 10 university, forced me to get the jab. I had a heart attack at age 43. No familial history, no medical precursors, but I can't file a VAERS that'll be taken seriously.
I'm sorry for your situation, but nobody forced you to do anything. You always had the choice even if that meant losing your job. My wife was unemployed and turned down several leads because they were going to "force her." She found a place that didn't mandate it eventually. Don't play the victim card because you failed to take a stance.

Lose my children's free undergrad degree. 4. Lose medical/dental/vision insurance and I am the provider of that for our family. My husband worked for a skilled trades union, that worked outdoors, and he was laid off, and never got his unemployment to go through, so he was forced to restart his construction business for us to survive. The lack of empathy in comments like this is disturbing. By your logic, there shouldn’t be laws against extortion or coercion either. Which would be stupid. The reason we have laws in place to punish extortion and blackmail is bc it’s recognized that you do NOT have to “hold someone down” and physically force them to do something against their wishes or morals to constitute “force”, and yet you’re willing to throw all that out bc YOU were able to make a different choice? Public health and safety isn't their job, money is. Public health and safety are the government's job. It really sucks what the Boyscouts turned in to. I learned to fish, identify plants, shoot a rifle, bow, throw axes, build forts, trapping, got patches, had a lot of friends ... i think the only thing we never did was learn how to ride a horse because we didn't have the availability, no one was ever or even would consider to be molested. But, my scout leader was an ex Marine Corp sergeant, and, as little kids, we tried to do the entire survival manual for scout snipers. We also all went to church, another org that had some bad seeds ruin everything, almost.
It’s still that with few exceptions here and there , send your boys to bouyscots , they will love it . Nothing is perfect and bad appears can be found in all countries and in all institutions.
I was kicked out for not selling enough Easter baskets but was able to save two scout friends from burning themselves to death playing with a gasoline pump and another scout from freezing to death to buy building a giant bonfire after other scouts in the troop stole and hid his sleeping bag on a bitter cold camp out as a gag .. but not selling enough Easter baskets was really really bad so I had to go .. stole the scoutmasters’ keg of beer they were saving for the next camp out in the meeting area kitchen fridge the night I got kicked out .. rolled it on over to the John Carroll university campus nearby to enable the college students to enjoy it .. scout duty to higher education

There's a lot to it, knowing definition is not enough. Narcissists lack empathy, live for attention, can destroy anyone, anything. 5-17% of our society + more people with just narcissistic traits (4 x more among Millenials).
As a black man, I struggle to use a computer everg day. The struggle is real. I can't even spell everg right. Everg day I have to go to the white collection camp and pay almost $100 just to operate it. i try to keep it on but sleep mode is tok racist.
As a conservative Christian, and Scout Mom, I'm devastated the direction the Boy Scouts has gone in. My 2 boys are in Boy Scouts. One is an Eagle Scout, and one is Life Rank, and will be working on his Eagle Project this summer. They started in the 1st grade and are now 17 and 15. Our family loves the outdoors and the Scouting program has been phenomenal. Our Troop is a boy only Troop. It didn't go co-ed when others did. It's been a place where boys can learn to be good men and citizens and have fun growing together. Each Troop is unique and run independently, and ours is boy led and boy focused. We've given so much of our time and heart to Boy Scouts. As much as we've loved it, if I were making the decision today for an activity for my boys if they were 1st graders, with the direction BSA is going in, I wouldn't choose Boy Scouts... or should I say Scouts 😭. Sad times for me. They ruined an amazing, iconic, program for young men that was once a top tier experience and opportunity for growth. 😢
So sad to hear. I live in Sweden (girl, do we have problems here nowadays... but that's another topic). My daughter's favourite activity is the scouts (not the "regular" ones but run by a local church). She learns so many life skills, comes out to the nature, feels independent, gets to know kids of various ages. The kids, youngsters and adults all seem to be very decent people. So glad for her! Heartbreaking if the kids miss out on such a great concept due to scouts turning worse...

I never got one of the pokes, and still to this day after 4 years, haven't even gotten covid. Seems to me it's only the people that got the poke that were getting covid...
It took about two years but I did eventually have it. I would not have known had my employer not required us to get tested. It was no worse than the common cold. Had I not been tested I would have simply taken cold and flu over the counter meds and been done with it without knowing. Of course, the tests themselves did prove to be inconclusive in random testing. I remember seeing people test all sorts of things that came back positive.
