And drew always tries to mess them up by picking people who DON'T look like voice actors. half the time it's adorable elderly women. He knows how to make for a hilarious game!

@@coreyhill681 It IS when you realize he was talking about the audience members doing the terrible sound effects, and not Ryan and Colin for somehow making it hilarious.
I remember drew saying "that was the funniest thing I've ever seen" always being played in adds for the show and always wanting to know what he was laughing about.
colin: "i have a feeling theres terrorist behind that door" ryan: "i hope they're loud terrorists" colin: "it wouldnt surprise me if it was a very quite group of a 100 or so"..i fucking lost it. 😂😹. i was in tears.

everyone saying the ladies were bad... and should have been ryan... THAT'S THE POINT. there's a reason why this is a classic and not the others. them being nervous and awkward made it all the funnier and further proves that Ryan and Colin are comedic gold. i dont get why this has to be explained.
That ending scene is classic. Ryan holding his eye, colin nervously scittering about, one of the woman is still quacking, Drew dying in laughter. Brilliant.
The whole point of this game isn't to see which audience members make the best sound effects, but to see if the performers could keep a scene going with terrible sound effects.
It used to be Ryan doing sound effects while Colin acted out a sketch. Whoever came up with the idea of audience members doing the sounds for them both to act out was a genius
I remember that the part with just Drew laughing for a minute straight was used as a commercial for the show. Literally just him laughing, no context, nothing...the only tagline was something like, "You just have to watch it" and then the name of the show. I couldn't imagine a more perfect commercial, honestly.
This is still the funniest Sound Effects ever. And might be the funniest THING ever created. It brings me to uncontrolled laughter and tears every, single, time.
The whole point of the game is making fun of the noises that people provide. The worse at sound effects they are, the funnier the scene, as this one shows.
“Alright, you kick down the door, I do the duck, you do the elephant.” “I might do a duck.” “Ready?” “K.” *B A N G* And then, everything goes wrong after that.
Incidentally, the "wrong animal" audience sound effect was already a staple of Canadian comedy at the time: the live performances of The Arrogant Worms' "Mounted Animal Nature Trail" invariably devolves into the audience shouting random animal sounds during the silences when the animals are supposed to be dead. It's tradition now.
Two things I wish a few times they had someone else that was good at sound effects (like a professional, Michael Winslow), do them, so we could really see Ryan and Colin in action at the same time How has nobody done animations of these, with the stupid nonsensical sounds against a confused Ryan and Colin
I've actually been watching the show again. If you have a smart TV you can download the CW Seed app to it and watch on that free with ads. If not you can just look it up on your computer, it's all the same. 🙂
