Can I purchase just the flow super and flow frames? It seems like the only option I see is to buy the entire kit including base, brood box, and top cover.

Hi. My husbands family has what looks to be small bumble bees that have made a home in a chair they had moved out on their patio. I think they may have moved it into the yard under some other covering..but im not sure. Do you know what the best thing to do would be for them ?
I have been an admirer of your product for a while. The point you made about avoided costs between the Flow Hive and more traditional hive bee keeping should perhaps be given a full, unique page in your web site. I have watched both videos of other systems similar to the Flow Hive and traditional hives, and in both cases some videos attempt to water down the benefits of the Flow Hive. 1- Similar systems claim to use food grade plastic; however, they do not attempt to use BPA free plastic. Using BPA free plastic has important implications for health. This is a health issue both for the bees and for humans who consume honey, and there is a cost with these health issues, 2- I have heard it many times that your products are on a continuous cycle improvement process. You may perhaps want to detail some of these. For instance, how quickly will the wood of typical hives last versus the wood you provide. You might want to include information of how laser cutting benefits the owner of one of these systems, for example. 3- Traditional hive bee keeping requires equipment and labor in taking the panels out, removing the wax with honey from the panels, managing the extraction process, and replacing the panels back into the hives. This takes a standard amount of labor, and this has a cost based on wages. How much time will be saved per kilogram of honey? How much labor is saved per year per Flow Hive? What equipment is required to achieve extraction of honey in a traditional system? What are these costs? How is the Flow Hive a better alternative? It is difficult for people who are first contemplating bee keeping to understand the advantages of the Flow Hive. How many years can a typical owner expect a Flow Hive to last? What services or warranties are offered by your firm to a buyer of your products? Some people may have no idea regarding costs or technological improvements until these are explained in detail, and it is difficult to understand the long term savings your products provide unless you take the time to explain these in excruciating detail.

The breeder box needs the frames changed from time to time to ensure cleanliness in the hive. You can harvest and process the wax from these frames. Admittedly the honey frames from a standard (Langstroth) hive will give you a greater wax yield. Regardless of whether the wax is very dark or discoloured from breeder box frames, it will still clean up very nicely once the impurities are removed. When harvesting honey from the flow hive there will be minute amounts of wax and propolis in the honey when it is harvested, but nothing to worry about, it is healthy. The honey from a flow hive is absolutely raw honey, no outside interference such as pasteurisation or filtering. Of course you can still process the honey but in doing so you are reducing the health benefits of raw honey.
My bees consistently fill the flow frames from top corners down to the bottom middle lastly. Weird. Also, can I buy just the flow hive 2 base? I need a replacement.
People might say your prices are unfair but people in America get rich for talking shit to their mom or twerking nowadays so don't feel bad for making a profit off of your amazing creation.

You are well done, came up with such a technology of honeycombs, it’s like ready-made houses for bees, let's hope that your technology will save us from robotic droids. Still lacking technology for bees , that the honeycombs are intact and not broken, that they are homes for bees, place them inside the greenhouses so that the bees pollinate the harvest. Where a crop is needed and not honey bees, we do not need to destroy their homes.

I think the price for the Flow Hive is very reasonable... especially when considering all the thought and creative process that went into it. Plus, with all the on-going support and education the company offers without any cost. It’s a full service company that truly cares about their customer-base, as well as the bees and the product itself. And, the cost reduction that results from not having to purchase the vast variety of other supplies and equipment that other bee-keeping systems require. I’m surprised at your comment and the implied accusation.
