I love the Mandalorian Speeder 75023 from 2013. Wish Lego would remake the Super Commandos from the set into a battle pack as they are quite expensive now.
This was the greatest year by far for Lego in my opinion, so much variation and if it was your first year collecting Lego you could quickly build a huge varied army in this year alone with lots of unique figures and sets! I wish I bought more sets from this time period and 2014 (being the second best imo) such great sets, I don’t think Lego will ever be able to top these years sadly! I was abit disappointed in this video being considered “long” whilst being short and then split into two parts 😂 but I’ll be back for the second!
i remember when i saw the 2013 wave for the first time i sprinted towards the 501st at-rt cause i just saw the umbara arc and i got both the head hunter and the mhc and i got the captain rex barc speeder set day 1 as in australia i never got a phase 1 captain rex as i never saw any of the sets in stores i was lucky enough to have most of the 2012, 2013 and 2014
I regret that I was 5 years old then and I could only look at those sets that go for hundreds of dollars today. But at least I have an AT RT set with some unique figures
Always thanked younger me for getting that Sidecar set. Strangely enough I got it for Obi Wan because hes my favourite jedi and kinda just assumed a fan favourite like Rex would be a common fig. Kinda wish I'd gotten the set with the yellow 212th as they'd be perfect for the troopers Cal and Jaro Tapal fought in order 66
That is amazing aha! I vividly remember asking my Mum for the set back in the day but she said no :(. And yeah the yellow 212ths still look really unique even if they're a little inaccurate, like you said, can always use them as a different battalion!
