Good video. It would be a lot easier to see the spinning if you marked a ball with stripes or alternating colors 1/4 of the way around. Could be a good idea for a practice ball. Billiards players use cue balls with bright red dots on them.

Two toned pickleballs are available for purchase just about anywhere PB equipment is sold. The trouble is they are not made by Franklin the last time I've looked and the plastic used has a different feel. I bought a bag and used them once. Generally you can tell best by the way the ball flies and how it bounces off of the ground. The proof is in the pudding!

In a recent video, you talked about how the pros are now returning serves with topspin instead of chip and charge. Could you show some third shot drop techniques against this topspin return? Thanks

You're lucky to gave someone who is able to return the ball just where you need it over and over, like Kenadi is doing. Great job, Kenadi!

I'm seeing progress in my top spin when serving but I can't seem to generate any top spin when an opponent hits a hard top spin at me. Most times instead of hitting a top spin back I just manage to halt the spin and the ball flies off my paddle with no spin at all, a knuckleball. So frustrating but need to keep trying.

When you hit top spin, I see some players hit the top of the ball first so their serve, so it creates a side & top spin, but is that legal serve?

As a 4.0 player, I notice that a lot of 4.5 and 5.0 players are almost always using UNDERSPIN when they are cross-court dinking on the backhand side. And they often get into these long underspin, cross-dink rallies. But then I watch the pros, and as you point out, there's a lot more topsinning going on. For example, James Ignatovich does that two-handed topsin backhand dink. Should I focus on mastering the underspin cross-court backhand consistency first, before trying to do topsin on the backhand side?

What about the under spin? (Opposite of top spin). I used it when the ball is coming back knowing it’s a high enough bounce. Result is the opponent tries to return the shot and you guess it, it hits the net!

Can u explain the difference between a roll volley and a flick?
@EnhancePickleball
@EnhancePickleball 3 месяца назад
I’d say the flick is more of a speed up shot. It’s something that is deceptive off of a dink. It’s also usually not out of the air. You use a roll volley most commonly off of your opponents drop to keep them back.

I do the exact same thing, especially when returning a serve that bounces a little higher than normal, I probably win four or five points a game using this technique, and this result is exactly what you described. They hit it right into the net, even the better players, it’s a great strategy
