I have been working on this for over a year and could not find a video to explained the wrist and elbow like you did in this video…. Finally.. Thank you very much… Appreciate you!!!
So glad you brought up different swing styles, I will never get that Tiger optic where the elbow is in front. I have more like the Rory style swing, making sure I throw in side bend and keep that elbow connected to body.
One of your best, practical for us aging athletes. Wrist position description well done, all of us benefit from that. Arm, right elbow discussion very helpful -- not all of us are flexible (very few of us over 40, let alone over 60), thus focusing on getting the arms moving down and delaying and keeping the back to the target longer is key, our bodies just cannot rotate fast anymore (if they ever did). Thank You!
Another good one mate thanks for sharing. Interesting that I try and feel this with the arms falling first before I pivot back to the ball. I think this is a similar idea to the one you shared a couple of weeks ago.
Golf is hard and there is a feel for sure. I’ve been practicing a lot, looking at videos and getting professional instruction. My Ahah moment has occurred, however repeating the “feel” requires patience and repetition. The change is noticeable and at age 60 the that means a 7 iron carries 155-160 when everything clicks, previously 145 ish. Effort “feels” less than when I’m swinging a club vs turning shoulders. It also “feels” like my right elbow is tucked into and leading my oblique at the hip as I rotate through impact.
