A temple in the Indian state of Kerala contains perhaps the largest undiscovered treasure in human history. The Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple In Thiruvananthapuram contains a treasure so potentially large that just it’s interest could pay for large scale infrastructure projects in the state of Kerala. But why does the treasure still remain underground? Why do so many Hindu temples all over the world contain so much wealth and what historical reasons can help us explain this?
