Why a Daredevil Game Would be Easy to Make

I think Daredevil would've been the perfect choice for a Telltale game, but they went with the Guardians of the Galaxy for whatever reason so alas. I think if there were to be an open world Daredevil game, they should focus more on his acrobatics and parkour ability than just grapping up buildings, really lean into his athletic ability

When you think about it, having a radar sense would kind of be implemented automatically. Sure you could, and imo should, have a detective mode type of thing, but even just playing the game in a third-person view already gives you a similar advantage to seeing everywhere around you like Daredevil. Games usually don't address this, but having a third-person camera gives you a huge advantage that your character usually shouldn't have. You can use it to see when an enemy is approaching from behind your character, you can look around corners without getting out of cover, and sometimes even look through walls. Most video game characters aren't really able to do all that, but Daredevil can, even in canon.

I'd play the hell out of a Daredevil game. He's Marvel's best character imo. Would also love an M-rated Moon Knight game.

even the Netflix series left enough material for this game to be realistic, spectacular in the story, but well into something other than Batman Arkham 2.0 with Devil.

Daredevil's one of the most popular Marvel characters (top 5 in the comics, probably not top 5 in the mcu though), yet simultaneously very underrated. Marvel should treat him better, but I guess the 2003 Ben Affleck film made them more cautious regarding DD :(

Daredevil could work because of his alter ego. You could do so much with Matt Murdock, the story could very well be based on a trial, and Daredevil has to be basically a detective almost like Batman, with a rogues gallery like Kingpin, Bullseye and so many other guys to face, which would truly make his world more open, instead of just Hell's Kitchen. It could branch out a bit. Having Foggy and other characters that are around him help as well. There's so many ways to make the fighting and sneaking around cool. The abilities with sonar and sound would be so cool. It's definitely possible to do

Unfortunately it's the same business logic with Batman and Green Arrow that makes it impossible for a high quality Dare Devil to get green lit. Dev: Lets make a Dare Devil game. He's more popular than ever. His history would make for great bosses and world building. His sight could make for unique mechanics. Publisher: Yeah, that's great. Now take all those ideas and go make a Spider-Man game.

A punisher videogame based on punisher max would be amazing

The lawyer segments in a daredevil game would be amazing and add him having personal stakes. The investigation side of him would be amazing and tie in to both plots

A mechanich id love to see is that on the fight scenes when you play in middle, and all the game when you play in hard it would change to seign as Daredevil does, so you see everything by the sounds, the smell and everything, and when your gonna attack, it slow down and You have to focus on one enemy to throw the attack (otherwise it will just punch to the air or if your lucky it would hit one of the enemies) And the rest would be normal if you are in middle or if you turn that off (if You don't do that it wouldnt really cell, a lot of people wouldnt ve interested)

I think they should have like how Batman is a normal 3rd person view but have like a last of us type of listening mode but when in the listening mode is active the stuff around you is on fire or how he sees the world

There should be sections of the game set in a first person pov. Show how he sees the world in certain areas or at will. Allow us to see vibrations on the floor and other neat stuff that his senses can do

Easy way to connect Matt Murdock and Daredevil gameplay is to make the courtroom/legal stuff relevant and incorporated into the story or side missions. E.g. Dude on trial is bailed out after you lost the case, but the guy goes right back to crime, time for Daredevil to aprehend him, would be double satisfying defeating people when you've fucked up in court (imagine a nemesis system here)

Oh my god, a Daredevil game where Insomniac’s Spider-Man makes an appearance would be AMAZING! They could bring in the Punisher too, so many god damn possibilities! My top pics for villains would be Mr Fear, Bullseye, Kingpin (obviously), Gladiator & Owl

Realistic parkour , intresting abilities , dying light esk gameplay but 3rd and 1st person and suits , possibly even a tie in to the spiderman game

I'd love to see games based on Doctor Strange and Ant-Man. In my opinion, those games would have very interesting concepts. Imagine being able to perform different spells on enemies, traveling through dimensions and all that jazz in Doctor Strange, or a game where you command an ant army a-la Pikmin in Ant-Man, changing your size to fight with people. But if there's a fighting game I would love, that would be Marvel vs. DC. The whole story could be based off the 90's crossover series, and you could unlock some Amalgam Comics characters if you completed the Classic routes for two certain characters.

I think you should play it in third person and see normally like in Batman but in specific areas like in dark rooms, or predator-like missions they can make the area pitch black. If theres enemies far away there could be like a pulse of light in their direction. It could be different animations of what he's sensing like heavy breathing, fast heart rate, movement, etc. Then when he gets more close to them they become more detailed. Just an idea Edit: They could also use quicktime events too

I can picture the gameplay being like Perception, where you play as a blind woman who uses sounds to navigate the environment, but like you said it would just be permanent detective mode but make the enemies radiate sound like how they breathe and how they move their feet, like imagine a fight scene being like the one from season 2 finale with Daredevil fighting the hand and he’s just focusing on their breathing to know where they are, but that sort of mechanic would work if Matt was using it in a stealth situation to find where are all the bad guys are in a room

We can easily use the Arkham Detective Mode(Make so it can be turned off to avoid headaches). It'll be fun on a second playthrough to try to always have it on.

A Daredevil game would be dope. There was a cancelled DD game that was in development, Unseen 64 made an episode about it if I am not mistaken. I've wanted a Daredevil game ever since I saw the Ben Affleck movie when I was younger; every time I play Nightwing in Arkham City, it makes me wish there was a Daredevil game.

I think it would make sense to put him in the next Spider-Man PS4 as they've already establish he exists in the first game, you could have him playable in afew missions in the next game like they did with Miles and MJ.

a game that will answer your question about the blind part is perception it's a semi horror video game with the main character using echolocation to see

imo gotta go with a classic Arkham-style 3rd person so you can see Hell's Kitchen, and then have the ability to transition into 1st person sonar vision get Matt's POV. This could be done from stealth vantage points see enemy locations and weapons, during detective cases to get clues/find people, and in the open world to find side missions and crimes in progress. Also, really focus on the parkour aspect of Daredevil's movement, not just a 'press X to vault' situation, almost treat it as a combo counter where u can press a variety of buttons to do a number of different moves. And if you're only moving on foot (and in very limited situations via grapple) then the open world needs to be a little smaller, like Arkham City size to make a ballpark guess. The combat should be a bit like sleeping dogs - very grounded - but a lot more acrobatic like Spider-Man PS4. Just a few thoughts thx

Daredevil The Video Game is the perfect Spin-Off to Spider-man ps4 game series

Sonar Vision/Echo Location + Keen Sense Of Smell should be able to be toggled on, & it should work similar to how it was displayed in the movie When DD finally faced Kingpin & water was sprinkling everywhere & the sound waves was bouncing off the objects & surfaces in the room thus creating a vivid & precise picture for DD to interpret & use to his advantage. I also think his sense of smell should be an ability that can be toggled on & off but will be limited in earlier parts of the game until you begin unlocking xp to grant you further access to the ability, but different scents should be color coded & DD should be able to smell traces of different scents in the air enabling him to track a person, place or thing or even determine how long the scent has been in the air giving him roughly the duration of time needed to catch up with the scent before it disappears & as you unlock the ability further you’ll be able to smell different pheromones giving you pinpoint accuracy when navigating through Hell’s Kitchen rooftops at break neck speeds whilst creating amazing gameplay with fluidity of movement thats on par with spiderman & batman using the multi purposed baton & retractable grappling hook with more focus on parkour and acrobatic movement when transitioning between buildings, gaps, ledges & other obstacles in the terrain of the city. His suit would get upgrades as well, armor plating for bullets but will have various degrees of protection & mobility, different functions would be able to be added or taken away from the baton makin it more suitable for mobility or combat. You will be able to customize all his gear & adjust everything to play style and since DD is an martial artist you’ll be able to unlock different fighting styles that compliments DD’s agility & superhuman reflexes along side his mastery of stick fighting with the baton this game would be so epic if executed properly 💯

Stealth mode sneaking up on people using his daredevil vision would be cool. Just mix the Batman Arkham games and GTA and there you have it lol

It would be really fun to have to use hearing and other senses way more than sight. Like, you can see, but it's really terrible and your controller vibrates before you are hit, and the footfalls being very loud/a marker around the center of the screen.

Am i only the one that want‘s this game in first person? I recently replayed dishonoured and i think that perspective would fit very well for this game. And like you suggested in dishonoured you have a ability that makes you see enemies through walls wich could represent daredevils heightened senses. I also like the parkour in dishonoured and you could replace the teleport with his grappling hook baton. I mean you could change the style from mainly stealth to more action but i personally would love a game like this

I want a modern 'The Punisher' game with Ulta violence and solid voice acting and story narrative! I loved the moral dichotomy between Daredevil and Frank Castle in the TV show; daredevil believes in the Criminal Justice system whereas the punisher is disillusioned!

I bet they'll do it. Willing to bet that first Marvel/Feige want to build more hype around the character by introducing him in the mcu, and bringing him from Netflix to a billion dollar film franchise. It also seems like they're trying to outsource their games' creation to better studios, and take them more seriously. Could potentially be Marvels reaction to the Arkham series.

I think it would be amazing and if it was the same kingpin from SMPS4 and there’s a throwaway kind or something that’d be cool. I think toggling they Radar Sense would be fine, I think if it’s on permanently it would just look weird, like after I need to switch out of Detective Mode after a while. Story and combat would be great; you could have a punisher side mission, The Hand setup for a sequel, have it also be developed by Insomniac and have the New York be the same but Hells Kitchen is bigger. I think lawyer mini games esc things could be cool, you use the joysticks to find the frequency of the heartbeat and see if their lying or not. The court stuff might just be cutscenes, also reference to She-Hulk, who is also a lawyer, and Alias Investigations would be cool.

I want Insomniac to make a Daredevil game, or even solo games like Spider-Man, Daredevil, Ghost Rider and Iron Man and Squre Enix can make team games like The Avengers, The Defenders X-Men and maybe the Fantastic Four?

Daredevil should be easy to make a game for, especially since, technically, he only has enhanced senses. Not actual super powers. And yes, he and Spidey should team up in the game. Aside from having the kingpin as a shares enemy, they’re very similar in a lot of ways that would be interesting to explore fully.

Have the game with the same but different tone as Arkym Knight game but a city in worse codition and crime tape, crime scenes and a lot of rain. He could have a variety of suits like original, red/yellow, Darkdevil, etc. Radar sense should be activated when needed and only moving people or objects. With jumping/parkour movements. Destructible environments, home as base, training, villains like Alex Bont/ Kingpin, Bullseye, Elektra, Purple Man, Mister Fear, Chance, Death Stalker, Fixer, Insomnia and others. Story that has Daredevil against The Hand, trying to clean the city overtaken by the organization and original Kingpin Alexander Bont returns to reclaim Hell's Kitchen and the man who put hit on Jack Murdock paying The fixer to carry out the job and Matt had Bont convicted and he swore to get back at Matt for this so killed his father to suffer. YES a Daredevil game would be awsome to play. 👍🏻

I'm thinking it could have a Horizon Zero Dawn type of sight where you have a Normal sight Which you use most of the time and an Advanced Vision that you use to spot enemies spot weakness of enemies (like pressure points that Mat is a master of) They could for a more accurate version where radar Vision is the only Vision and opponents are easier to locate when they're firing or talking and overall making sounds or have a very strong smell for a example Saw the Video and saw you said the same thing basically Only you used Detective mode from Batman Which might be as good of an example Also the Lawyer thing could be pretty cool both as cutscenes and maybe the ability to give the police aka yourself some leads but also as a choice system where you choose if you will represent a client believing if he's guilty or not (and if you can gain anything from them if they're guilty)

Unless Sony inks a deal to have exclusive rights to Marvel, I don't see a shared universe happening. Sony purchased Insomiac Games not too long ago. Any lore created in the Spider-Man PS4 game is unlikely to be shared with Microsoft or Nintendo.

As far as him being blind how about you have different ways of sight through all or one of his remaining senses. You can have one of his “sight senses” be based on smell, audio, echo location,or spiritual or something like that. Have him use one of more senses to catch killers , combat or even have Arkham predator style of game play. The upgrade wheel is based off those senses. During combat for different enemies you have to use different senses. And then in open world have him use all the senses at once so he can traverse and interact. Then again that may be a lame idea 😂😅

I am not familiar with the daredevil character as I have never had interest in him . Don´t know why though. But if there is a lawyer function it would be cool like that you go out as daredevil and put big gangs or gang bosses away and then when they are in court ,you as matt murdock are representing the opposing party from the gang bosses. So you are putting them in jail as daredevil and matt murdock.

The Gameplay for a Daredevil game would be easy (just rip-off the Arkham Series; "detective" vision, fight mechanics, and traversal). But I can't imagine a scenario where any game-making company would make a good *story*. With Batman, it's easy: one man, all the money, all the toys, one ultimate world-/city-/universe- ending storyline. They did something similar in the Spider-man game. But Daredevil isn't popular or powerful (in most situations) enough to warrant a story like that. I'd love to see a Daredevil game, don't get me wrong. However, he isn't Batman or Spider-man.

Spider-Man PS4 isn't apart of a bigger Marvel game universe they just throw in the other marvel ip minus physical characters to make it feel like it is but you'll never see Daredevil or the Fantastic Four show up in a Spider-Man game or vice versa because it's Sony's property not Marvel's.

Daredevil is one of the most underrated marvel heroes of all time. He has so much potential it’s not even funny.

Playing a Daredevil would feel like playing a Batman game, except he blind.

I've always thought Daredevil would be fairly easy to make, just use Spiderman and Arkham as a template then add some cool new mechanics, make it more in line in tone with the Arkham games

Just imagine the creative liberties in rendering a world through “Matt’s Eyes”, the liberal use of colors, the effects, using sounds as sources of “light”. Imagine looking at a city with a complete dark sky, lighted by street noise and perpetually covered in fog at the distance. Remembering that at the end of the day it is Matt’s imagination that renders it, in a way it could be thought of more as in a Dream sequence. It could really make for a memorable game for its unique visual style. Otherwise, in the event of a need for normalcy you could just render realistically while on cutscenes. You could use part of Insomniac’s Hell’s Kitchen, scaling it to a more modest movement speed of Daredevil, maybe getting some inspiration by Assassins Creed traversal. Story-wise you could do as in the series, an event occurs, maybe in Spider-Man 2, or just the day of the outbreak/Prison Lockout which sends that corner of New York into disarray, throwing Matt into the forefront. Besides you could use more of the Lawyer part, building a case with “Nelson and Murdock”, collecting evidence, getting/protecting witnesses, going through speech trees at court, using the enhanced sense to interrogate... Maybe you could spice up the combat as to not make it an Arkham clone. Maybe instead of a flashing button prompt you just see a “ghost” of an enemy’s further animation and you just have to get out of the way. Maybe the attacks are a bit more free flowing so you have to make sacrifices: Use fists to be faster staggering enemies, use both batons to sacrifice speed for greater damage and combine both into a staff for greater reach sacrificing both speed and damage in order to fight crowds. It could be like playing a game while seeing the hit-boxes in real time to avoid damage and dealing it.

Id love a Daredevil game and marvel games in general if they were on the quality level of Spider-Man

I believe Marvel actually planned on making a Daredevil videogame but for some reason they stopped development.

God I would kill for a game surrounding daredevil. Amazing gameplay mixed with storytelling similar to the Netflix show would be ideal. There’s so much opportunity with this fantastic character

It’s not that Daredevil would be hard to make. It’s the fact that he’s not as popular as the other hero’s.

Playing Spider-Man PS4, I would go through Hell's Kitchen and think "Man, this part of the city looks so grimey and dangerous, I'd love to play as Daredevil here".
