A weak dollar can signal an economic downturn, making me to ponder on what are the best possible ways to hedge against inflation, and I've overheard people say inflation is a money-eater thus worried about my savings around $200k

The stock market is a way to hedge against inflation. Most notably amidst recession, investors need to understand where and how to allocate funds to hedge against inflation and still make profits.

in my opinion, the impact of the rise or fall of the U.S. dollar on investments is multi-faceted but learning how to grow your money has never been easier than now that you can explore and experience a truly diverse marketplace passively by using a well-performing portfolio-advisor.

Exactly why i enjoy my day to day market decisions being guided by a portfolio-coach, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/ analvsis they have, it's near impossible to not outperform, been using a portfolio-coach for over 2years+ and I've netted over 400k.

Right now, things are peculiar. Because of inflation and the emergence of other strong nations who are willing to trade in their own currencies, the US dollar is losing value. The good news is that a lot of people continue to utilise the Dollar since it in some way guarantees safety. I'm concerned that these and other variables may lead my $420,000 in retirement funds to lose value. We need to keep our money somewhere else.

Well, I suggest you make a diversification plan because it's been harder to build a good portfolio that stays afloat since COVID. Very effective defensive strategies are used to protect my portfolio and make profits despite the ups and downs.

You have to consider net debt, the US is owed trillions by other countries. 60% of all foreign reserves are held in US dollars . there are more US dollars outside the US than inside the US . the US dollar represents 90% of all trades in foreign goods world wide . The US dollar is the global reserve currency . The US dollar is valuable just on its own. the US net debt is negligible relative to the real size of the US economy. which is far bigger than specified because many of the companies are held in the Cayman islands . The US , its people , companies and Government own approximately 40% of all the assets in the world. think of Boing , General electric Tesla, etc. When i buy tractor parts from China , i have to pay in US dollars , and I'm Australian . they wont take Chinese yuan , or Aus dollars only US dollars . US dollar and its economy is king . it is incredibly dynamic . Has been since WW2

Wonderful to see a great video of good content. we all have to win in order to overcome recession and inflation The stock market provides a place where companies raise capital by selling shares or shares to investors. Shares give shareholders voting rights, as well as a residual claim on corporate earnings in the form of capital gains and dividends. But it is better to Invest in Cryptocurrencies because you earn more and better. In my role as a financial planner, I serve clients with different income levels. Depends on dividend yields. If you found stocks paying you a 10% yield annually that would be $120k. Even at a %5 annual yield you'd have to have $240k. Realistically, stable companies will pay annual dividends between 1%-4%. AND when stock prices go up due to inflation (not demand) dividend yields tend to decrease. Ideally, you're looking at $850k-$1.5m.

However, as you said, these are unprecedented times and in hindsight we should have done something more drastic to prevent the levels of inflation we are currently experiencing; but hindsight is 20/20 and I still believe the Fed did at least try to make the best decision it can make based on whatever information they had available in the moment.

Used to be all countries had savings in USD, but now, because of excessive, disastrous sanctions, and trade wars, many countries are avoiding the USD, and are now developing alternative systems of international payments.... This trend can not be reversed, because sanctioned countries learned their tough lessons...

This is a straight lie, people are fleeing specifically TO the USD because of how unstable so many other currencies are atm. The only possible alternative to USD was the Euro -all other competitors were way too far behind USD usage at 44% of the international economy.

It's not really strong economy but other economies that are weak. A good strategy is making your opponents think your economy is weak or in troubles like China is doing while your country suffocates in debt

Their economy is in trouble. Major economic centers have been fully or partially halted due to draconian covid restrictions and their population has now begun declining, with the most recent projections saying their working age population will likely decline by over 2/3 in the next 80 years while their age dependency ratio is expected to go from 1 retiree for every 4 workers to almost a 1:1 ratio. And China has the same amount of total debt to gdp as the US, with their private/corporate debt twice that of the US.

You can "use" any currency your trading partner will accept. And if you are fast enough with your transactions, if you "use" a currency that is plummeting in value you won't see much loss. But if you want to "keep" wealth in the form of currency, you will choose the most stable one you can find preferably one that is increasing in value (relative to other currencies.) So in answer to your question, for the Euro to be as desirable a currency as the USD, both for transactions and reserves (store of wealth), it would have to begin tightening its supply in these globally inflationary times as much as the US Federal Reserve has.

An erroneous argument indeed. Japan has been dumping treasuries because of a currency crisis in their own market. China is dumping for geopolitical reasons beyond economics and to maintain their peg. Both are moves being done out of necessity due to their domestic weakness.
