Dear Kevin Feige,
I have a great idea on how you can make Agents of SHIELD canon again, since you seem to have forgotten about them. Not to worry, I will explain in explicit detail. Please reach out with any questions.
Good tidings,

Honestly, the fact that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was able to stand on its own and still make compelling storylines even after being booted from the MCU is pretty amazing. I'm so glad I didn't give up on it😭😭😭😭

I love AOS but I don't want it to be canon because it's so much better than everything else going in in the mcu right now

The problem with this theory is that it implies that the timeline where the Earth is destroyed is the same timeline where the Snap happens, which obviously can't be the case since they happened around the same time. My headcanon is just that none of the agents happened to get snapped. It's plausible.

I got to disagree with you, the timeline doesn't need to diverge, colsons death is still able to be cannon to the main mcu. The timeline were they save Colson is the one where graviton destroyed the world and caused the future the characters went to, the timeline where they don't save him is the main mcu timeline, the original destroyed time line wasn't even a real timeline, it was a potential future that was solid because of robins future self sharing the same space as her past self, but after she dies the timeline became liquid again and was able to change. While the characters don't mention Thanos they do mention that something is happening in the world, that thing is most likely the snap even if they weren't allowed to call it the blip, that means they are still in the same timeline they have always been. Even after there multiverse adventure in the final season they still go back to their main timeline at the end of the season. I like this theory and most people do think the timeline split here but personally I just don't think it does nor does it really need to, everything that happens to thise characters could still have happened when we or if we see them again.

Kahmalla was a real missed opportunity, I forget if muslims can eat fish, but if they could it's like, just have her encounter a, as Hunter said, tainted fish taco. And later on, have someone from Shield, like Fury or better yet, Coulson himself, show up to explain what happened and save her from the DoD with Daisy, it would be easy to do the exposition. But sadly, they wasted that chance with a rushed couple episode Disney plus series with a overbloated plot. Heck, its not like you have to change the whole djin stuff.

Its canon in my eyes, dunno why Kevin Feige actively trying to denounce or decanonise this, an awful move from him and to all the pre Disney Plus shows, make them canon or else, bring them back, so yeah

You better speak the truth on Season 4 Episode 15 Self Control!!! I will literally watch Self Control if I'm having a bad day, even with the heartache in that episode, it makes me feel better! They could make it canon again but for me, to be honest, I don't have faith they could handle the characters properly! AOS is my favorite thing about the MCU and based on the current state of affairs with Marvel movies - I would be terrified that all of the character development would be erased! The MCU lack character development and is constantly undermining it's own storylines! Leave my AOS boo and babies alone Kevin!! Also, Daisy is my favorite Avenger!

In the episode "Collision Course Prt 2" when Fitz-Simmons are coming back to the ship with Izel they say they've been in space for a year. Later on at the "Party" in the lighthouse Mac says Daisy has been in space for 5 years. That's the only way "The Blip" is even addressed.

It's even easier than that. The timelines diverged when Doctor Strange peeked into the multiverse to see how they could defeat Thanos. Or AoS diverged when the agents returned from the future. Or, and this is the answer most consistent with established time laws of the MCU that are shared between AoS, Loki and Endgame: Time doesn't diverge from a point, but from a sequence. So in the timeline where the agents are at the end of season 4, Thor went for the head or something and Thanos was defeated. In any case, the agents returning to the "original timeline" at the end of season 7 makes it unnecessary to even address the specifics. It's already been solved. The characters (minus Deke) are in the MCU if they need to be. It's just a matter of writing any of them into a story. And all those headlines saying it's not canon are based on flimsy interpretations of things taken out of context anyway.

One small correction. Hale doesn't trust her daughter Ruby with the gravitonium, she believes Ruby doesn't have the temperament to control it and wants to infuse Daisy instead. Ruby ends up taking the gravitonium for herself behind her mother's back.

I would argue that they never left the sacred timeline after season 5. I mean, the blip; something as reality shaking as that, and yet, they barely mention it or don’t mention it at all in shows like moonknight, shehulk, ms marvel, and lots of other Disney+ shows and post blip movies. And I mean, it would be an unavoidable topic of discussion for before and after the reversal of its events for years to come, because it seemingly affected everyone; and yet people seem to go shrug it all and go back to normal just like that. Maybe the entirety of the higher lifeforms in the MCU are resilient AF and just shrug it off like it was nothing; and I mean, if the characters and the families of the agents were largely unaffected by the blip; like the Khans, Maia’s family, moonknight, and lots of others. Then it’s not difficult to assume that the agents just shaked it off and continued with their work. Besides, it’s my headcanon that agent Piper actually reference the blip when she said “we’ll be dust” in 6X01 when they were hiding from the Confederate Destroyer Ship.

I feel like the concept of space, time, and the multiverse are completely spontaneous, random, and unstable. That’s why you see a different time effect in Loki. Or the writers are just inconsistent.

I agree tho. They did tie in the MCU so there's no problem making it actual canon.

Not to nitpick, but you made a couple of mistakes discussing Winter Soldier and S5 of AOS. In the case of Winter Soldier Hydra didn't infiltrate SHIELD by using Zola's algorithm. They were able to use Zola's algorithm because they infiltrated SHIELD. As far as S5 of AOS the team isn't transported to a spaceship. They are transported thru time to the former SHIELD base known as the Lighthouse, an underground bunker which survived the Earth's destruction. I assume you were trying to simplify your recap of both, but these errors make me wanna say "Gabbi, have you even watched Winter Soldier and AOS S5?" 😉

I love Agents of Shield and believe that technically Agents of Shield is canon - just not on the Sacred Timeline and I am fine with that. Even if Fury deciding to bring Coulson back was the decision that spawned the new timeline, who cares. In the Sacred Timeline Coulson dies but in the AOS timeline he is brought back. If the agents are in another timeline, they can be in Secret Wars, maybe as one of the universes that is in danger of incursion. As far as Thanos, I have speculated that the Chronicoms were the reason Thanos never actually snapped in this timeline.

Personally when I watch it I do consider it mcu canon and while most ppl don't we have to admit that it's all just preference at the end of the day so for me it does fit in well with the continuity of the MCU but then again it's all just preference wouldn't force anyone to believe that it's Canon just because I do and that goes for the Marvel Netflix shows as well.

Could just make it like in season 5 ep 12 when coulson feared it was all in his brain or just make it so they never got out the framework

I may have a solution to all of this. So, I own one of the production copies of the Darkhold from Agents of Shield. If I can get Kevin Feige to autograph it, I think that would 100% make Agents of Shield canon.
