Grab a bunch of percs one shot and make a groove out of them --> Play with velocity and grooves. Add FX (Vinyl Distorsion, compression, saturation, Reverb, Delay, anything you want actually) and resample the loop. Then play with Warp algos and bpm and you're done
Hey Julien! You are an absolute gem! Opened my eyes for a lot! Quick question - what's the best source of the so called percussion loops. Not asking for a certain website or anything (would also help tbh), but obviously they are from non-techno music, so how do you end up getting them/inspired? Thanks and huge love!
Mids are always being filled with perc & drums etc, thats not how they create their tracks many them, just like Alarico's new track Light Curve Hiss...
Really not a good idea to cut everything about 40hz? There are subwoofers in club designed for frequencies below 40hz and you are removing all information there
makes mastering way cleaner, and those frequencies are still present just quieter. there's no eq in the world that cuts 100% and doesnt let through a tiny bit of information still...
@@JulienEarle it can cause phase issues, the signal gets louder but the perceived loudness is quieter, most of the time its better to leave it alone...
Good luck. I had the same problem several months ago. He told me on a RU-vid comment to DM him on Instagram lmao, never answered. He doesn't give a fuck. He sells a lot of his loops. If people have empty files, unfortunately he doesn't give a fuck. Scam
