The fish and wildlife will not be effected by the mine. They just released environmental reports on their mining processes and the environmental impact. There won’t be any effect on the wildlife or water quality. The benefits of the mine would bring jobs, a form of income for the state, and keep the USA on top for production of copper and gold and other metals while maintaining respect for the wildlife and local citizens. Just kinda seems like people are pushing this mine away for personal benefits like AOC did to Amazon in New York which would’ve really helped the locals right now with so many jobs needed in the area.

I used too know Brian krafts daughter good people and great fishing as a fellow miner that has live here my whole life I’m very Aware of the Catastrophes that mining can do but it’s all regulated. And as a fellow Alaskan fisherman I know how important it is to preserve the water but at the same time the native villages do need that source of income because they really have no other options and it’s messed up that people discriminate them for selling out. Because I know and we all know that the Alaskan people never sell out. Trust.

First stop the over harvesting of the commercial fisheries they have ruined the east coasts fisheries. When settlers first came to North America the shop stopped because there were soo many fish. Commercial fisheries have ruined black Bay in lake superior in Ontario now that is a fish sanctuary for walleye. Also gasoline engines pollute our water ways stop them from doing that too. If the commercial fisheries are talking then they are hypocrites who are ruining the fisheries already.

Really?! The pollution outcome is zero. That's when I stopped listening to him. NO mining company ever has had zero negative impact. If he were realistic and said only 20-30 percent impact, maybe, but zero. Also, the only people that benefit from this costly adventure would be a small group of investors and the man who owns it all. He must think Americans are idiots. What is great about Alaska is that it remains mostly untouched by people. It would be so crude and irreparable harm to dredge up such pristine beauty. WHY!? Do humans have to ruin every inch of what it beautiful on this earth? So upsetting. Why do the fish, birds, and other creatures not get factored in?

Not worth the risk. The US purchased Alaska for many reasons. Why does the reason they purchased Alaska all those years ago have any bearing on today? Even if they purchased it solely to extract resources we aren't bound by that. Untouched, uncontaminated land and water is in itself a resource. What of those that fish for a living downstream? Small business and individuals don't have big money for lobbyists AKA bribery yet our government is supposed to represent ALL people. I say leave the minerals there for now.
