This week, we bring on Ally Loyns, a poet who has published two collectionss and advocates strongly for people living with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). Ally shares what drove her to publish her first book, A Generation of Sunflowers, which is incredibly open and vulnerable. Ally followed that up with Bloom, which has been wildly successful; it has been nominated for Best Poetry Book and contains “Stronger Together” which is nominated for Perfect Poem. This publication offers a much more complete picture of what it’s like living with BPD. The three of us, four including you, have very similar goals: crushing stigmas and using compassion to overcome all manner of adversity. Lastly, we talk about the final book she has in the works to complete this floral trilogy.
