After knowing that guys were the "shiney objects" in my life for 62 years, I came out. Heartstoppers has brought forward so many of my thoughts throughtout my JR & HS experience. I lived in a small town and in the late 60's early 70's coming out was not even an option. Guys be thankful for the freedom you have to express yourself and find other guys without the need to hide. I agree ..... I love Charlie and Nick. It is easy to cheer for them and then share the joy of their friendship growing logically and the normal feelings they (and we also) go thru to get to a stable place. I've watched season 1 30 to 40 times. The characters really portray much of my / our feelings and what would be the normal emotions they / we would have experienced. I have yet to see a forced or contrived scene. The incidents and event surrounding them fit my experiences and fit the lives of male oriented young guys. Can't wait for next season! Yep Orla Gartland writes and produces good music. I have yet to NOT like one of her songs. Check out the rest of her stuff! She's good! All the best guys! Perry
