Allah knows the best. There is no comandment from prophet to kill anything in that black and white. If "pure black dog" is so bad, why Allah has created it? Ask yourself that and think about it...

(black dog) Abu Dharr reported: The Messenger of 'Allah (ﷺ) said: When any one of you stands for prayer and there is a thing before him equal to the back of the saddle that covers him and in case there is not before him (a thing) equal to the back of the saddle, his prayer would be cut off by (passing of an) ass, woman, and black Dog. I said: O Abu Dharr, what feature is there in a black dog which distinguish it from the red dog and the yellow dog? He said: O, son of my brother, I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as you are asking me, and he said: The black dog is a devil. Reference : Sahih Muslim 510a

Look into the Maliki Madhab in regard to dogs, its the most lenient in its positions for dogs.

You can touch dogs but make sure your hands are dry. Put the dog outside as a guard dog. Dont let them inside or the angels wont enter the house. Every time you recite certain duas god will assign angels to protect you.

Sister, Please know that I'm trying to advise you as a Muslim brother and I'm not trying to be negative but it's actually the opposite, owning dogs is Haram as you mentioned, and with all due respect but the reasoning you gave is not valid, if your sister wants to own one you can't change that I guess, but you're a Muslim and the prophet peace be upon him said that No Angels enter a house that has a dog in it, he also said that whoever owns the dog would lose a mountain of Hasanat (good deeds) everyday, so it's really not worth it, and remember that the prophet peace be upon him said that whoever leaves something for the sake of Allah, Allah will reward him something better, trust Allah and give these dogs away to someone else. And life will get better for you on every aspect including your mental health inshallah

I just knew about you and as this is the first video that I watched of you I might have gotten a few things wrong so I apologize in advance. I assume you are a new revert which-congratulations and alhamdouli Allah for you returning to the True Path!!!- and I know there are many things which might take you a while to adjust to and I can tell that you are actually doing way better than even some born Muslims including me a few years back, so all I want to say is don't always feel the need to justify your actions to people that are nosy with the excuse of religion and I assure you that you are doing good in this case, you have a valid excuse for having dogs and you're making sure that they don't interfer with your prayers and overall your maintening of a relationship of Allah, and yes all creatures are Muslims even dogs in that they know their Creator and recognize the role that Allah assigned for them........ Assalamualykum muslims, please don't comment about dogs without knowledge, don't just say things what we heard growing up, read all the hadiths first, just to let people know, during our prophet (pbuh) mosque had no doors or walls and dogs used to go inside the mosques... so look up all 4 schools of thoughts, personally I would keep dogs outside.

Being a westerner is very common to have dogs around in the family and its in their culture. So when you reverted you will face this issue about dogs in our religion and a whole lot of opinions and rulings regarding this. Step by step sister, may Allah ease your affairs and we pray for your well being and increase with your knowledge. My advise is stay away from producing contents that might invite unwanted comments and reactions. Some things are best for you to keep private and if any issues or questions best to consult the religous teacher/s.

Sister It's haram to have dogs in islam here are the verses:- Chapter: The command to kill dogs, and its abrogation. The prohibition of keeping dogs, except for hunting, farming, (herding) livestock and the like(10)بَاب الْأَمْرِ بِقَتْلِ الْكِلَابِ وَبَيَانِ نَسْخِهِ وَبَيَانِ تَحْرِيمِ اقْتِنَائِهَا إِلَّا لِصَيْدٍ أَوْ زَرْعٍ أَوْ مَاشِيَةٍ وَنَحْوِ ذَلِكَ Abdullah (b. I think that the reason dogs are not supposed to be in the home is because they are not clean? Islam allows cats in the home, hence it is not that it is against having animals at all, I really love animals and would love a dog lol but I have a blind cat, and cats are allowed because they are extremely clean, my cat will literally wake up in the middle of its sleep to clean itself lol. I think instead of confining yourself to specific rooms where the dogs dont go, it could be better if you confine the dogs to a room or area, as I went to a muslim household once who have dogs but they are confined to the basement. I always try to figure out the whys of the rules in Islam, and I think dogs are just not clean so they shouldnt be inside our home, maybe outside in the backyard, bc when they're in the house we are probably getting ourselves, furniture clothing etc dirty and contaminated. I am from Bangladesh which is a muslim majority country (but live in Australia) , and when I go to Bangladesh I see that the dogs have a lot of freedom outside, I also feel like they are not really made to be inside homes, and I think its pretty cool how they are free to run around the streets in bangladesh and kind of feel like they are a bit imprisoned here in Australia when I see people walking them in leashes or confining them to their homes, I even just had a new neighbour move in and their dog is always barking and I think they have tied the dog in the backyard or something and I feel so bad for the dog bc it probably feels trapped and wants to be free. Cats on the other hand are more soft and like babies and they should be kept inside the home especially since they get run over by cars and die, but I think dogs are supposed to be free like other animals rather than confined to homes. Similarly, I get really annoyed when I see people have birds as pets bc that is imprisonment, birds are made to be free flying creatures outside, having them as a pet is not you looking after them, you are confining them and taking away their freedom and what they were naturally made to do.

Dog is Haram sister. Read sahih bukhari hadits number 2322 and sahih Muslim hadits number 4023. Dog saliva is impure. If your dog lick your clothes or something else your cloth will be impure. Soo your prayer will be invalid. I love dog. But after I read hadits, I gave my dog to a Hindu friend.

Emotional support is not valid reason to keep a dog. You have other options as well. But yeah one step at a time.

Dog is not haram it is just najes if she wash her hand after touching dog before salat or use special clothes for pray and have special place for salat it is OK to have dog

I have a German shepherd and i m a muslim. I love him to death I have a separate prayer area and prayer clothes I got him when i did not know dogs are not allowed in house But my dog is muslim too ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I wanna have animal shelter one day ameen May Allah give long healthy life to your babies ❤❤❤❤ 😭😭😭

@@lyndsayalz sis you can keep dogs. For hunting, protection etc. Just would be better if you keep them outside or maybe their own house? Well, the reason is dogs are unclean and angels don't enter houses that have dogs inside. But you can still keep em. Just not inside the house :) anyways, I pray you become a better Muslimah. Sister dogs are prohibited in islam and you have black dog for which prophet(saw) has already said that black dogs are devil here is the verse:- Chapter: Game caught by the dog of the Zoroastrians (and the all-black dog)(4)باب صَيْدِ كَلْبِ الْمَجُوسِ وَالْكَلْبِ الأَسْوَدِ الْبَهِيمِ It was narrated that Abu Dharr said: “I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about the all-black dog and he said: ‘(It is) a devil.’” حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلاَلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ عَنِ الْكَلْبِ الأَسْوَدِ الْبَهِيمِ فَقَالَ ‏ "‏ شَيْطَانٌ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ Grade: Sahih (Darussalam) Reference : Sunan Ibn Majah 3210 In-book reference : Book 28, Hadith 11 English translation : Vol. 4, Book 28, Hadith 3210

it's always have been the same God , at the beginning Jewish people called him by his wrong name Allah which means god of Israel Jesus come to correct it and call the people again to worship that God and again the people twisted and called him by a new wrong name which was the father and the last one was the prophet Muhammad who has tell like the prophets after him to call people to call God with his name God Allah is just a translation for God , and the difference this time is that God has promised that he will protect his words by himself from any human corruption.
