"Killer intro, Sven! I absolutely love your approach to the topic of collaboration and how trust in the other editor's process is key. Great insights!"
This whole video was amazing! I especially loved the text on screen at 21:34 because it perfectly puts into words how each phase of production ultimately works to tell the story of the film/show. Excellent video!
i just have one question. if you are working with a bunch of audio layers of multiple people plus backup tracks. how do you handle all the tracks at editing and cutting? Most of all for L and J cuts, cause its for me always a hustle to not skip overlap accidentally layers over each other
Fantastic video, Sven! It's fascinating to see the thought process and workflow of seasoned editors, especially those who are producing award-winning content. Thank you for creating and sharing such insightful videos. As always, the content is top-notch.
if only it worked like, BUT this is not reality for most shows, trust me IT IS A SHIT SHOW !!!!!! and ultimately as an editor you just take a back sit and watch the shit show unroll infront of your eyes
I think what you see if the offline edit, without colour grading or lut added, focusing on narative editing. Colour grading will be done at the online edit phase....
