I have a question. If the oil track pass over our finger hole , does it mean we release the ball in wrong way ? I have only 1 ball , everytime i wanna spare the 10pin , the first one oil track got 90% chance will pass the finger hole Do i have to mind this isssue ?
@BowlismOutlaw
@BowlismOutlaw 5 месяцев назад
Hi Pew Pew! I would say no this is not right or wrong. The reason why the oil track passes the finger hole is you roll the ball with small axis tilt. If you want to prevent the oil track from crossing over the finger hole, you can practice tucking the elbow in the have your hand stay more behind and inside the ball. Other than that, if you can hit the pocket, have strikes and spare the 10-pin, you are ok to go your way! :D Don't worry too much.

This explanation misses the point of generating leverage. What a bowler needs to do is carry the ball throughout the swing with their thumb and exit the ball cleanly. The thumb clears as ball goes past sliding ankle. The natural result of the ring and middle fingers applying leverage or rotation to the ball only because of the thumb not holding or gripping the thumb hole. Because the bowlers hand is a God-given design, the fingers will apply leverage without effort.

Very clear instructions 👌 I always thought I had to have the push away complete at my 2nd step. This way makes sense...trying tomorrow
@BowlismOutlaw
@BowlismOutlaw 5 месяцев назад
Hi Hijo, not that soon. In a nutshell, you can step up (the 2nd step) with your push away, but just put it into the swing after the foot (with your 2nd step in the 5 step approach) is fully on the ground. When practicing, just do it slowly to feel it. We don't need to rush during the first 2 steps. That's it :D
