James Cook (1773-1775): The British explorer and navigator James Cook was among the first to cross the Antarctic Circle during his second voyage (1772-1775), although he did not sight the mainland. Cook’s journeys disproved the idea of a habitable southern continent.
Wrong. The same effect is also felt in north pole for 6 months too. The reason is Antarctic circumpolar currents and the south pole is a terrain which is a poor heat sink.
3:03 North Pole days starts around 21 March (While on 21st June, The Sun is on the peak 23.5 degree above horizon) South Pole around 22 Sep (21 Dec peak position)
Please someone explain: Ek question tha, ki sea level se upar jate waqt temperature kyu Kam hota hai, balki temperature toh jada hona chahiye na kyunki hot air toh upar ki tarah jate hai and cold air bhari hote hai toh niche ki tarah ate hai, our toh our jada upar hone se sunlight bhi jada lagegi 😅
Antarctica is the coldest place on Earth, with temperatures reaching as low as -60°C/-70°C during the winter, making it one of the coldest regions in the solar system. The extreme cold is due to its high elevation, lack of surrounding landmasses, and the reflective nature of the thick ice cover. Key moments: 00:00 The Earth's poles experience extreme temperature differences, with the North Pole being significantly warmer than the South Pole due to unique environmental factors. The Arctic region has more plant diversity compared to the harsh conditions of Antarctica. -The extreme cold temperatures at the poles result in the North Pole being 10 times warmer than the South Pole, showcasing a stark temperature contrast. -The Arctic region supports a variety of animals like Arctic foxes, polar bears, and reindeer, adapted to the extreme environment, while Antarctica is considered one of the most barren places on Earth. -The lack of vegetation at the poles, especially in Antarctica, poses challenges for plant survival due to the harsh cold weather, making it difficult for plants to thrive in these regions. 05:03 Humans have survived in the extreme conditions of the Arctic region for around 20,000 years, adapting to the changes brought about by evolution. The Antarctic, on the other hand, remains uninhabited due to its extreme cold and harsh environment. -Differences between the Arctic and Antarctic regions in terms of human habitation and adaptation to extreme weather conditions. -The geopolitical significance of Antarctica as a continent dedicated to scientific research and the absence of territorial claims by any country. -Exploring the unique geographical features of the North and South Poles, including the seasonal variations and the Earth's axis tilt affecting their climate. 10:08 The video explains the extreme cold temperatures in the Arctic and Antarctic regions, highlighting the differences in temperature and geographical features between the two poles. -Comparison of winter seasons in the North and South Poles, showcasing the unique temperature extremes and seasonal variations. -Explanation of the extreme cold temperatures in Antarctica, making it the coldest continent on Earth due to its unique geographical features and weather patterns. -Discussion on the geographical differences between the Arctic and Antarctic regions, emphasizing the impact of landmass and ocean surfaces on temperature variations.
This all is about difference between temperatures of north Pole and South Pole of earth but if you go through all the celestial bodies of solar system there are difference in poles in which north pole is warmer than south Pole.... Whats reason for that??? 🤔
Bhaiya raat ko roj Aasmaan me chalte hue taare dekhi dete hai kbhi kisi direction kbhi kisi ye har 2 min me dekhai dete hai kbhi 2 kbhi 3 Or ye me 5-6 raaton se notice kr rha hu pls bhaiya in per research kr ke btaiye na ye star hai ya kuch hor
