bench him to wake him up, pretty simple. he doesnt realize where he is and the position he has, sit his ass down and wake him up.

Agreed. Every game he would say he wasn't playing that bad. Worse passing qb in 20 years says otherwise.

Stats: 79-of-94, 914 yards, 6 TD, 0 INT; 26 rush yards, 2 TD Dillon Gabriel has yet to put together a truly gaudy day through the air like we saw throughout the 2023 season at Oklahoma, but he has been extremely efficient, leading the nation with an 84.0 completion rate. 2025 draft ?

Nobody prepared him because it’s never been talked about until now. People are hilarious for acting like he killed someone. Sure it’s not advisable to do what he did, but let’s stop the sensationalism and the faux outrage. It was a mistake that he can learn from and move forward with his career. The think pieces and verbose segments are hilarious.

If you're not able to go for the next play, just stay down... You will come out for 1 play, crowd cheers when you jog off, and then run back on the next play.

Why didn’t Jayden Daniels or CJ Stroud have a development problem? Or Mahomes or Josh Allen? Why did trey Lance have a development problem and not Brock Purdy? They were on the same team with the same coaches. Also Geno smith, mayfield, and Sam darnold have had good second legs of their careers after being demoted to backups.

What I find most interesting about the Joe Flacco story is that the Broncos had him in 2019 and given how he has played since then, it seems that he wasn't the problem.

And the thing is, it would've been really easy to say to the media and to the sideline that something was hurting him and he wanted to get it checked out, rather than saying basically "I got tired and frustrated so I took myself out". That was very poor judgement to admit to that publicly, and so he forced the organization to hold him accountable for what basically was him publicly quitting on his team. Maybe that wasn't his intention, but he should know better. And if he didn't know better, than I hope he learned his lesson and knows now.

We've seen young QBs. We've never seen any of them tap out. ANY. Stop giving him excuses. Guys his age have commanded troops in battle, led fighter squadrons, captained warships. And have played quarterback without pulling stunts like this.

17:33 they need an actual development plan not just benching, how are you teaching him, what are you helping him with, are you changing up his drop speed, teaching him how to reset his feet after every hitch that’s what makes this thing difficult and my honest opinion is the best way of teaching him is to let him learn while playing
@TJackson736

Footwork can only really be improved during the offseason. You cant focus on that during the season as a coach and a player cant fix it while suiting up every Sunday.
@jameshoops10
@jameshoops10 3 часа назад
@ exactly most of those gains can’t be improved until the offseason and having a true plan in place now in how to succeed with ar is vital to the whole process it allows you then to phase out his development and understand what kind of workload he can handle

How can you Quants weigh this strategy without any analytic data? Did PFF calculate a "tapping out quotient"? Coaching staff in EVERY league have several orders of magnitude more real data than outsiders.

I wonder how many times he has ever seen QBs tap out due to fatigue? I'd say never, so what made him think it's cool? The same reason he throws or runs the ball out of bounds on 4th down, his football IQ is Loooooooow

WTF is Sam talking about? every team is different as far as player development. look at the lions and how many of the players they draft are on the roster. some teams are better than others. the colts shouldnt have started richardson. that was obvious. and the colts dont develop talent very well anyway

HALLELUJAH!!! I have been telling friends for years that the NFL needs a minor league. A TRUE minor league. The mistake of NFL-E was that the connection between the NFL team and the NFL-E was opaque. You sent five players at the bottom of your roster with almost no chance of making the main roster, and they were sent to five different NFL-E teams. Americans are the main football consumers. You need to tap into the rooting interest by having a 1 to 1 correspondence with the pro team. The London Goliaths relate to the Giants, the Paris Golddiggers relate to the 49ers, the Berlin Rockets relate to the Jets, the Rio de Janiero GenericBadNames relate to the Washington Commanders. Stuff like that. That would give a natural rooting connection, and the interest in potentially seeing 'futures' players might be interesting to the real hard core nuts (like me). Sending just 5 down and up isn't likely to produce a success, but sending 50 down IS likely to produce a few guys every year who make the pro roster. And seeing them early will create a connection that will draw eyeballs. I think it has to be during the offseason. I'd put a short 8 game season as early in the offseason as I could. Players who participate could not exceed some number of snaps the preceding year in the NFL. 4 Leagues of 8 teams each. Maybe one in Europe, on in Asia, one in Latin America, one in...Australia? Play one game vs each foe in your league. Last game is a one game playoff with consolation games. So 1 hosts 2, 3 hosts 4, 5 hosts 6, 7 hosts 8. The minor league team should play the same systems as the pro team.

AR tapped out in a bad way. His stats continued to regress rather than progress. The Colts lost a very big AFC South battle with a bad finish. Finally you brag about being a great QB passer and runner. Maybe there should be a Minor League for the NFL to send a guy like Richardson to so he comes back with better mechanics and maturity and smarts. Its the NFL though and the Colts needed a QB to carry them. I feel bad for Anthony I really do and I hope it sends up being a happy ending in his story. Update.... Holy crap you guys ended up talking about the NFL needing a kind of partner minor league or similar.

The development problem is so lazy, only about 3 teams have a development problem, at the end of the day It's up to the individual to take it upon himself to get better
