I bought an apartment in Expo Dubai but have no plans to move there. I’m from Pakistan and we love living in San Diego, California!

Hahaha I feel ya I grew up in San diego took me 30yrs to be convinced to move Dubai. Expo was a Great move at your end love what that community has to offer it's future investors they are many years ahead when it comes to infrastructure compare to upcoming neighbouring communities. @@tahirmajithia Hi Tahir, my main reason to buy a Dubai property (Sky Residence) is that Short term rental business is much more smoother in Dubai than in the U.S. My plan is to get the experience of airbnb in Dubai and then if it turns out to be fruitful, I will gradually expand. Like Ahmed said, ‘Test the waters’ lol.

Hi! I just discovered your channel and binge-watched three episodes! I would love a video discussing building quality and finishes in Dubai. It's a topic that's been popping up more and more online, with many people complaining about big developers rushing to deliver projects fast resulting in poor building quality. I would love to know why the finishes are not as important in Dubai vs places like London.

Listening to ahmed specially in the last section about everything he mentioned as a difference between so called developed european countries like italy n Switzerland is 100% correct. I got almost robbed by 3 thieves in paris metro on my 2nd day there with my wife. Everytime i travelled to europen countries and Canada i start telling myself and my wife how blessed we are to be at the right place at the right time in Dubai. God bless UAE!

So if an American invests in US offplan property and re-sells, and then re-invests they can qualify for 1031 exchange.

Yes indeed its possible The IRS rules for 1031 exchanges are strict, so follow them closely. include form 8824in your tax return, notifying the IRS of the exchange and informing them what property you sold and what property you purchased as part of the exchange.

Thank you. Your comment proved my point. Wanting to raise your family in a better, safer ,environment in a different country does not mean you hate America and my info was neither controversial nor exaggerated. Google up your stats and data to current political, economical and Realesate situation and its all there its not a hidden agenda its an ugly bitter fact that is hard to swallow for many Americans like yourselves.I know many America's who have denounced their citizenship to avoid taxes on their wealth and have moved to asian or European countries that are tax free or friendly to retire, does that mean they hate america? dont think so, It only means that they had the will, means, and sources to leave and have a better comfortable life elsewhere.

There are still many unsold projects in Dubai from 2008! Just look around! ..you do know the UAE Derham is pegged to the USD, right? Do yourselves a favour, don’t waste your life watching this guy.
