'Why Are Cornish Seals Moulting Their Coats Early?'
Grey seals at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary have begun moulting their coats early, after the unseasonably cold British summer.
One of the moulting seals, known as Ray, has lived at the Sanctuary since he was just a few weeks old.
Seals usually don't shed their coats until late winter or early spring, but sanctuary curator, Tamara Cooper, said it is as though the seals "have already decided that the summer's over".
