We have very competent people in our foreign affairs commission. The reason is partly to do with rapidly changing world order and declining economic growth is most places. In any case, there is a bipartisan agreement on foreign policy in our country. Congress usually doesn't oppose ruling government foreign policy very strongly, because they would do the same as well. Let me tell you how growing up in Bangladesh shapes your perspective towards India using my own life as an general example - A Bangladeshi child grows up watching Indian cartoon channels like - Nickelodeon, hindi dubbed CN, etc. This is the reason most of the new generation knows and understands Hindi even when their grandparents and even parents don't (applies to me including many others). Indian soaps are played every night by our mothers and sisters from Star Jalsha, star plus,etc. I am not a Bollywood fanatic but I have seen my elder sister follow the Bollywood life very which in today's time can be comparable to BTS obsession. Once you enter your teenage life you start to learn about our liberation war in the school curriculum where obviously the crucial role of India is highlighted. This things are welcomed by the mass as we also feel a bit of cultural ties to Indians in mamy aspects. Personally I really loved India and this shows when I was one of many people from Bangladesh who took part in T-series vs PewDiePie clash siding with Indians. But hell I was hurt and shocked when in my late teens I found out about how much Indians hated us and felt superior of them as they usually refer to Bangladeshis as someone who are owed to them for independence and should always be obedient to India. The online abuse by the Hinduvta fanatics awestrucked me( let me make one thing clear. I know this didn't start recently but existed long before my birth. It's just my experience of finding out this side of India Bangladesh relationship.) As I grew up I found somethings that INDIANS knowingly use to downplay and hurt Bangladeshi sentiments. 1. Not acknowledging 1971 war as our Liberation War and claiming it to be one of their battle against Pakistan. 2. Taking all credit of the independence of Bangladesh by themselves and boasting about it and ignoring the war that went on for 9 months before that. 3. Abusing Bangladeshi Cricket team. 4. Hurting religious sentiment. 5. Social media bullying and hatred towards Bangladesh by calling us (Kanglus, Kangladeshi, children of India) 6. Constantly showing invasive attitude and talking about building back Hinduvta Akhand Bharat. 7. Building dams and controlling them on their own benefits that harms us . 8. Media propaganda against us. 9. Still having a colonial mindset among people and their sheer arrogance for being the power hub in SE Asia. These are some things that turn people in our country anti-India and rightfully so. These aren't false afterall. P.S. I know Bangladeshis counter this with similar hatred towards India. But hey that was the whole point of my comment. I just wanted to point out what incepts anti India sentiment amongst people. And this is when a pro Indian government was in power for 15 consecutive years. Anti India is still not a political policy YET. But with public view radically against India it won't take much time for a political party to try to take advantage of it. N.B. Anti Indian doesn't equate to Anti Hindu. We love our Hindu brothers of Bangladesh and have been living peacefully from time unknown.

We don't hate regular Indians, it's impossible to hate someone you're so similar with and share your culture with. We are not hating India for being superpower as many ignorants like to claim. Nepali here, I look up this channel for based source but on the context of Nepal you are having an strawman argument, Current government alliance is between CPN(UML) and Nepali Congress, I agree CPN(UML) is more pro-China but NC(Nepal Congress) is more pro-India as can be guessed by their name, India also has had a historically dominant and a bullying attitude towards Nepal, look up to all the blockades it has done, the 2015 blockade which was first after being a Republic, we had to inclined towards China more because of lack of basic medicine and fuel which are traded into Nepal through ports of India which we pay for, there was a life and death situation in Kathmandu since then you saying we play neighbors i agree but it's the same tactic you use with the west and Russia. Does a Hindu have any Pan World ambition like other dessert belief systems? This land is ours and we can't be treated as subservient faith.
