The gold is not lost, it is in the machines and can be picked up there. How long does the entire manufacturing process take? 2-4 hours? That's a very good hourly wage. Also, I've seen for myself that gold jewelry is much more expensive than silver jewelry.... the manufacturing process without the cost of materials! Can you explain that? Does a goldsmith earn more by processing gold?

exactly, thanks. they don't loose NOTHING. and this should be cheap because is all machines no hand made anymore, we not stupid, better give the gold to the victims

I don’t know how long it takes , I’m not a Jewerly maker, but I suppose at the most 2 hours, because as we can see it’s all automated, they say hand made, where is the hand made? Oh I see they take it by hand and move it from one machine to another. LOL . Never trust the turks they always lie to gain.

Most all of that gold dust is recoveravble. There is actually very little actual loss in this type of manufacturing. And thanks to all the automation and equipment very little labor. The real cost, aside from material, is the cost of all those cnc machines and other equipment.

I'm not sure why you are talking about material losses as a means to explain labor costs. I'm glad you at least mentioned at the end that recover almost all of the gold cut away. But material cost (the gold) is a production cost but not a labor cost. Having to remake broken items does (obviously) increase the overall labor cost per unit.
