Palma is beautiful with a rich history. I've many friends who have visited and it's high on my 'to visit' list also. If I'm honest, living in ths UK isn’t what it was some years ago, the country has changed and the appeal of living and being a part of Europe is so inviting.

Yes you would love Palma! Especially the streets and their history, once you venture off the tourist high streets you feel like you’re on a medieval film set! I love London but living there isn’t as fun anymore however I’d love the chance to one day live in Scotland or Ireland. How you’re well! :)

I've always wanted to have been born in an English speaking country but I wasn't and I feel like I'm missing out on being myself and almost everything because of that. I was born in a third-world country where English isn't spoken. But ever since I was a kid, I naturally gravitated toward English. By Grade 2 or 3, I was reading at a Grade 10 level. Our school principal made a big deal about it. I was also captivated by Discovery Channel shows, all from the US, which we didn't have in my country. The dubbed language never matched the lip movements to my OCD, made it feel unreal. So, I began in English. hich, due ning them As I grew older, I realized I couldn't fully express myself in my native language. English felt more natural to me, yet I still wasn't a native speaker, leaving me in a limbo where I couldn't fully be myself in either language. I was missing out on myself. Now, at 25 and having lived in Canada for over four years, I often feel like I'm missing out. I wish I had been born here, effortlessly understanding English. It's disheartening. I want to act in English, not my native language. This might seem strange, but it's a huge deal for me. It feels like I'm missing out on life. Sorry kinda unrelated but

You have wonderful English skills and if I had the ability to speak like you do in my second language I would be more than proud of myself. It is a huge learning curve and something we will never stop learning. I know how it feels when you just don’t feel like you are great enough but you have come so far so that deserves great honor. Dubbed versions second languages are always horrible to watch and don’t capture essence the director intended I’m bigger on watching in subtitles also. Living in Spain I feel a similar complex to how you seem about expressing oneself in your second language but you will get there don’t worry! Thanks for the comment !

I live in the US now but have been wanting to move to Spain or maybe Germany, Love it over there for the most part, I'll be done with my bachelors degree soon in a tech field but no real experience so would probably be hard to get a job across the world in that situation but one day I hope I can make it happen.

That’s fantastic, I’d be curious to know how the tech industry is doing for recruiting at the moment in the US? The uk a little scarce with recruitment in that field right now and I know it would be difficult to get a well versed tech job based in Spain at the moment. I have noticed many people from the US living in the EU however so worth finding out!
