Dr. Daniel just makes me eager day by day to start my own poultry farm. So far with what i learned from him, am confident that once i start, i wont fail.
Honestly you inspire me every day... I go on RU-vid each and every single day to watch your videos. Am currently in Rwanda, a ugandan from gulu. I have over 260acres of land but back but am not putting it into use... and am still young.... thanks for encouraging me Dr. You deserve the award of honor.
there's this something about you that I like Brother! The English accent you possess is just on another level. you should do agricultural shows like this on TV because a person never struggles to understand what you're saying. listening to you is like you speaking in my mother language whilst you narrating in English
Dr. Daniel, thank you for the good job you are doing, and we are proud of you. We need more people like you for Africa to be able to feed itself in the nearest future.
Doc, you continue to inspire us. Last night, I watched your Ted Talk and I was so humble to see the passion for this journey. Thanks and looking forward to making my journey a reality.
Thank very Dr Daniel. I am a 5th year med-student in Nigeria, very passionate about poultry farming (layers esp). Have been learning very enthusiastically from u Sir & very hopeful to start my farm next year. Pls, I need u to recommend some poultry books for reading. Thank you Sir.
Dr. Dan you are an inspiration especially for us young Africans and these broilers look healthy and beautiful compared to the sluggish ones am used to seeing in other people's vids. Bravoooo👏🏿
Amazing! I love to watch your farm grow, you are such an inspiration for us aspiring farmers, you have no idea how many people you are inspiring with your videos in becoming farmers, keep up the excellent work D, fantastic video, on point as always.
Ugandans let's advocate for for this young man to get an award of 🎖 honor... .. he deserves it... he has inspired alot of Africans around the globe....
There was a time my dad and I had a bet that if we keep a regular broiler for a longer time it will lay which I did I got a big local male to mate with the female broiler and she layed eggs although she did not brood them so put the egg under a local chicken to hatch them and they were hatched although I lost all the chicks to snakes. Then have also tried mating a male broiler to a layer at first he was to big for her but he ifgired it out he only mount her with a leg while the other leg was on the ground she layed and brood her eggs even hatched them
If most of the confused questions came from the US, that would explain it. Most of us have no idea where our eggs come from. But yeah, the easiest answer is that broiler breeds remain broilers regardless of age and egg production. And they're probably confusing the broiler breed with "broiler breeds," which is ANY breed used mostly for meat. 🤣
I love your channel Doc. I can tell you have a love for what you do and a since of making money while you do it. Thanks for sharing your knowledge of what you love. I am in the U.S. and I can sure use your knowledege when the time comes for me to use it in addition to what I already know.. I will not be farming but hope to have my own flock. What do think of Rhode Island Reds? It is my favorite breed. Thanks for sharing DOC 🤝💯we are all in this together👊
Other than the color (white), they remind me a little bit of "Freedom Rangers" (reddish-colored) that serve as both egg layers and broilers, without the development and functional issues of a lot of broilers.
@@FarmUp I will get Freedom Rangers eventually, because I like birds that can be broody, good parents, and good foragers. (same basic criteria for my geese, ducks, and chickens). I got buff orpingtons because they are good egg layers that satisfy the basic criteria, but I am definitely interested in having a broiler bird that is similar.
Doc Daniel it's nice watching your RU-vid videos but the very interesting one is the BSF farming, pls I would like to ask do you have any BSF farmer friend in Nigeria?
