It is really not a movement . These are just women that believe in traditional values . What bugs me about this trad wife philosophy is that I can not even get one of the brutish women how am I supposed to get a traditional woman . I can clearly get a date with a feminist but I do not want to be with a feminist . I am a disabled man and my situation is kind of difficult . I am on social security and if I get a good paying job I am going to lose my social security . Its not the money that I am worried about it is the benefits . I have the best health care in the world right now or near the best .

When did Jesus say that women shouldn't have jobs? The Bible even mentions women who did.

After years of being a single mom and raising two boys ages 16 and 18, I am happy to be a "trad wife" now. I'm remarried to a wonderful and supportive man ans pregnant with a little girl due this week. I was formerly a sailor in the US Navy. Not only that but a Navy firefighter. I dressed pretty masculine and took on the, "I can do anything a man can do" life. But looking back now I realize that it only damaged me physically and mentally. I naturally was drawn back to the old ways and now dress exclusively in dresses and skirts to embrace this new understanding. I actually get judgement on what I wear because people think I believe all women have to wear this lol Nope, I just want to! It wasn't until after I started migrating to this new way of life that I found it was a trend. I'm not doing this to be part of a trend, I'm doing this because the world is sick and I'm tired of it. The only control I have is to bring peace and balance in my household. Therefore, for my sanities sake, I'm keeping my mind on my household now. Now, I know perfectly well that I can and have survived on my own...I just prefere not to anymore. I prefere having someone to help me evennif it means putting some trust into them to do it right lol.

I am a very happy traditional wife, i am traditional housewives and I am not lazy and I am very busy every day because I do everythingin the home , and I take care of my husband and my mum are all very ill-health as well who needs 24 hours care and I got a son who got special needs who got a global mental development delay who needs 24 hours care so please don't said that all woman are lazy 😮

Hello, thank you for your comment and concern. Elizabeth is a firm proponent of leaving a relationship if there is abuse, but it's difficult to be nuanced on a short form RU-vid video. If you check out some of her other videos it might give you a more holistic sense of where she's coming from.

I don't know if it's any indication - but a study done showed that domestic abuse was relatively same in amish marriage communities as in secular marriages % wise.

Shoot, I was a stay at home mom and it got abusive so I left. It meant going to a women's shelter and starting a new life but there are other choices. I am now a "trad wife" and have a loving and supportive husband. If he ever becomes abusive I would up and leave this one too. Spreading fear about abuse and trad wife life trapping you is deceptive. It encouraged women to not trust at all. That's not cool to the men out there who are actually good men. There are good men out there that we can trust still.

It’s called compromise, she left her ca🎉refer to become a trad wife and had out earned me for 1st seven years of our being together. But I was forced to man up to take care of my wife and daughter and did. She managed our home and raised our daughter and was wonderful as a wife and mother. After our daughter got into h.s. and got her drivers license my wife made the decision to return to work. We both are looking forward to our upcoming retirement. And we met at a dance club in San Diego while I was a poor sailor, she had a established career and pick of the litter. I came in offering just myself and it worked.

@@GhostofSicklesleg Taking a break from work is not what trad wife means. Trad wives have little to no education and work experience. If something happened to you, your wife could have started working and take care of the children by herself, a trad wife could not.

Meanwhile, in war old war two, as American soldiers were sent over seas, these uneducated women went out to work 🤔
