Literally just happened to me ! My center was complaining about not getting the ball but one of my teammates had an 70 overall on him so the smart thing to do is let your teammate cook the 70 overall right? Nope the center wasn’t having it & he burnt all our timeouts . Soon as I heard him flip his mic down we literally just started losing & it’s crazy the main people talking are the trashiest people 🤣

Yes he was 2-7 but him missing open and wide open is not the same thing as you guarding him. I started a game 1-4 on all wide open shots and finnished 8-9 on next 9 3s so it don’t matter thst he 2-7 anyone can catch fire and start greening

Power forward play the mid range and force the ball handler into tuff situations and when the pass the lock can get the Lane steal and if the shoot and it goes into the mid range area they get those rebounds if the center can't get it Also they are like a mobile center so they can get down the court and block the ball and can guard the perimeter but they usually get down the court when the small forward gets down
My opinion i feel like you should play D from the start i play with a friend who looks at shooting % and plays D off that but they start hitting the game can change but if someone says can yall guard up on him it’s not bad we just don’t want buddy going for 25+

Lol people don't understand when playing random rec, when it comes to defending, players will always try to stop 2s vs 3s, never fails, they'd rather give up an open 3 than a contested 2 , even worse u will have 5 players in the paint tryna stop it, if u can just make shots you'll be in good shape
@lifewithtom90 I know bro, crap drives me crazy, what's worse is you'll have a 6'4 guard trying to crash paint for blocks that they'll never get, and leave their man open, same for the break, if ur a small guard why go to the paint, just run to the three and let locks run for chasedown and hopefully someone gets baited and makes a bad pass
and the thing is as a guard you only need 2 threes and an assist and you got takeover maybe he could've said it in a better way but in a close game when everyone is shooting bad you can't be giving up easy shots
