There's a great book by an LDS author that shows that there's perfect harmony between the prophetic statements concerning the garden of Eden being in Missouri and the Old Testament account concerning the garden of Eden being in Missouri and the Old Testament account concerning the garden of Eden. It's called Canaan, Babylon, and Egypt A Comparative Theological Analysis on Creation sold by Eborn Books. Great read!
Is this biblical reference speaking 🗣️ of incantations l, spells curses or is it speaking of secret agendas or secret handshakes for example today the bohemians , or in Europe how all elite and black nobility meet in secret to plot against Jesus and his followers. Please let me know?
@@cynthiaedwards222 "Secret combinations" is a term used in the Book of Mormon to describe a group of people who do terrible things to others in secret but promise to not expose one another for what they do. It's a secret group of a combination of people who's goal is to get gain by hurting others essentially. I'm not really sure what the comment you replied to actually means though :D
This remind me of line that always annoyed me in the Apokalypse of Adam "Then the God who created us, created a son from himself and Eve, your mother". Understand that he is talking to Seth, and have forgotten the time in the Eden, and is being taught by Lucifer, who present himself as his creator (the role he always sought to attain). Is it possible, that Cain is begotten, not by Adam, but by Lucifer. That by the fall choice was introduced as following God, or not following God. Only in Cain do we see the introduction of actively opposing God. Cain become the type and image of evilness in men; there was no evilness in the fall, just failing to follow the law. If so, no wonder Cain is in the center, he became the father of lies; he was the first to openly rebel against God. If so, he is (just as Christ) not under the covernant of Adam, and will only die by his own choice. It isnt doctrine in ANY way, but this film just gave a whole new meaning to those words of Adam
@@Rudyard_Striplingso very true ... yes, the Old Testament does state that angels did just that (Genesis 6:4) ~_^ But let us assume that the sons of God are not angels falling, procreating with women creating giants (the Nephilim), let us expect that humans are the sons of God. Yes, it makes Genesis 6:2 a little strange, but everything else makes sense ^^
@@michaelelmbkworkbuhelt9791 but who are these sons of God if Jesus is the son of God? Rather, when studying the scriptures in a different view, would you not consider those who followed God to be His children? And if you put that in play, you find that it’s basically the ancient curse of an interfaith relationship in ancient times; because their children were not bound to their parents in covenant and became giants. Of course, that’s just what I have learned, so take it however you see fit
@@thelatterdayarbiter Thank you. I really love this answer! I am very well aware of doctrine answers and tried to make it very clear that this was NOT a doctrine point, but, as you say, studying in another light. I'm a scientist, and as such I adore the focus on falsification (not testing if we are right, but if we are wrong). The greatest testemonies of truth I have from seing how strong the gospel is, when confronted with alternatives ... and how would I know alternatives, if I never dare to evenm consider them. So as you say, a different light. What you do is EXACTLY what I hoped for. Instead of a "nope, that is not what we believe" (I am very well aware of that ^___^ ) you take the consequence and say "if we take this approach, would it not make more sense that ..." and end up in solid doctrine. Thank you. I do not know if you are aware of the brilliance of your answer, but it is amazing ^^
