Yo hi it’s Alex the first one interviews in the vid in the video. My friend just sent this to me. I forgot to ask you for ur channel at the Star Vista that day. Thx for the opportunity man.
As a 23 years old guy working as an engineer in one of the biggest industries in Singapore, I would say the 24/7 demanding work is stressful. Having to work extended hours every working day, plus having to standby even during your off time due to the production never stops. Its the thought of being chased all the time sort of makes me feel exhausted? On the bright side, it keeps me going. Im quite sure progressed far more than I would if I were to work in Malaysia which comes with its price ah. I would suggest everyone to have a period of these stressful moments just to make us feel more grateful for our free time.
Being in my early 30s, I'm often stressed about career, money, housing costs, and caring for elderly parents. While I prefer a chill, go-with-the-flow attitude, the demands of work and having a partner can create a constant push to keep up. It's like we're forced into this societal rat race, even though all I truly desire is a modest income to enjoy life. Anyone else feel the same stress? It's like when we were young, we were in a race for academic grades, and now as adults, we're in a cycle of chasing higher pay and promotions. The never-ending pursuit continues.
You sounds like a lazy person to me. As a human being, I strive to be a better person today than the person that I was yesterday. When I wakes up everyday. I start my day with a positive mindset. Being stressed out is never an option because I believe every illness has it's cure. Every problem has it's solution and every question has it's answer.
its the same everywhere, not only in singapore. reason y u r stress is bcos ur ability cant match yr expectations. either manage ur expectations or up ur game. whine no use 1
Yes bro, 100%. The stress makes us advance and grow every single moment. But there are times that we just want to rest our mind, have free time, daze into the grass and do things that entertain us. Keep up the balance, keep relationships 👍
Watching and listening to you interview the 70 year old guy, i can tell you are a BLOODY good interviewer. Just to name a few: you are a dam attentive listening, and you catch on fast (in terms of digesting and understanding information and probing / following on on what your viewer would like to find out more)
Fuck i felt this so hard when I tried to move out, see so many places where rent takes practically half + my paycheck for very average not even decent looking rooms / places.
let me sum it up with one comment. Pin pls. -Increased cost of living -increased difficulty to get a house -increased competitive nature of our youth + theory smart(certs) overly prioritized and focused. -Costs go up, salaries go up but the ratio is like 7:1 -Ageing population -Slow loss of national identity of true blue singaporeans -Increased sensitivity and vulnerability of the younger generation -Singaporeans working and studying hard to just barely survive here
man the young people these days are more progressive than youngsters 10 years ago. We could never have that sort of haircut in JC and almost no one ever went to the gym. Now it looks like gymming is quite common and they all have the freedom to look more fashionable.
