I left Arizona in 2013 after my mother died because I couldn't take the heat. I loved the people and the Sun Lakes/Chandler area, but the Summers were brutal.

We left AZ a couple months ago after buying & living in Maricopa for 3+ years...too many reasons why. The State has some awesome history and places of interest, but it's a scary place to live...especially in Maricopa.

1. Too expensive 2. Too crowded, you nailed it 3. They downplay the crime problem 4. Massive bubbles in RE and cars I bought in 2010; sold last year.

Simple. The heat!

People are leaving because its getting hotter every yr..longer hot summers⛱️..yes its getting crowded and getting unaffordable to live here..

When you realize running your a.c cost as much as a Lamborghini. 😅

I have been here since 2005 and I no longer have any desire to live here due to continuous electric and water rate increase. Governor’s plan to Turn wastewater to drinking water is the last straw.
