Texas has tons of money, I don't really think Texas got outbid for Moore. Moore loved Eugene and the culture they have built there.

Texas is so stacked, so deep that some recruits would prefer a school where they "know" they should have an immediate impact. Money is huge obviously but some kids just want to play. Texas has Boldon Golden and Bond listed as the current starters at WR, leaving both Cook and Wingo as backups!!!! This is what any WR recruit will currently face at UT.

@Pidabred1 a&m has way higher recruiting classes then UT for years now. Remember the topic is what draws the top recruits. Man if a&m ever had a coach? Lol ..or stayed in big 12? Bd dominant

I though Ohio State, Georgia, Alabama, and Texas have the top 4 NIL budgets. If these schools are losing out on recruits, there is more than money.

We shouldn't be surprised that we missed out on Moore. Sark has missed out on the top #1 wr in Texas each class so far. Stewart, Hudson and now Moore! This is on sark, no excuses!!

I think the players think their talent would be developed better at other programs. Ultimately players are looking for a multimillionaire NFL contract. If your program can't do that then players are only there for their "education".

Oh I thought Texas went to the playoffs and won the big 12. It's not about that, it's about the money for the top players. Whoever pays the most will.win the top guys. Texas is holding to see how it shakes out. Paying a guy out of high-school more than a player who has proven themselves already, that's notngonna go well in the locker room.

@bigredfly100 nit helping your recruiting...didn't win crap. Big 12 super weak as well! Almost lost to Wyoming, Houston,tcu kst. You basically got in on beating a early bama team. That bama game anywhere else in season would result in a beat down! Watch more college football pls. Not just UT and big 12. UT had worse red zone offense than ever team ranked I top 10(end of season) you shouldn't have even been in playoffs really arguably
