I live in UK and we are having extremely bad inflation too... many ppl are just eating one meal a day, the energy prices is so high that many can't use heating ot hot water, etc Erdogan didn't increase the interest rate as this will hurt many ppl and businesses- those who blame him for not increasing interest are emotionless, they don't see the pain this will cause but are just capitalists. But there, the scholars are assessing the situation- and they can see that this election is about imaan vs kufr.. so leave your feeling aside and vote for AK party, and your will be rewarded. Tbh, it's a stretch to say it's obligatory to support Erdoğan. While I agree one should support him, when you say it's obligatory (wajib/fardh) that comes along with moral judgements in the hereafter for the person that doesn't support Erdoğan. Basically, by saying it's obligatory to support him, you're saying that the one who doesn't support him is sinful and deserving of punishment by Allah (as is anyone who leaves out an obligation). We don’t trust most of them and their influence on public life.most of them already have too much influence on un-suspecting people. Most of their followers are uneducated people. They are anti women’s rights, anti sports, anti co education, Turkish women worked hard to achieve the freedom and accomplishments they earned. Turkish people will never accept segregation of girls and boys and men and women, if any one out there who thinks Erdoğan will be able to achieve traditional Islamic regime in Turkey should know even the conservatives wouldn’t allow it.
