I think someone messed up and forgot to print a sheet that was supposed to be part of the set. So the edited the set symbol and called it an epilog set

Now imagine you don't hit the nissa/karn/calix and have playsets of cards under 1$ thats what did it for me. I open tons of product but this set felt like leftovers that could've just been in March of the machine or secret lairs
I feel like this set will be similar to baldurs Gate and new capenna where people hated the sets at first only to figure out a year or so later that there were actual bombs they overlooked. Also after opening a booster box of this set I got from an Amazon sale for like $50 it’s a bummer opening the same 10 cards over and over 😂
I got lucky and pulled every good card from one collector box. So nice having a one and done opening. I did pay like $200 for the box or whatever the original price is though.
The issue with modern Magic sets is that - if I made a rough guess - 90-95% of every set is just bulk. You have like 5-10 Rares/Mythics worth more than a couple bucks, but most other cards are worthless. I'd love to spend more on Magic Boxes, but if the value isn't there then what is the point? Aftermath solidified their desire to make money without putting in actual work for the products.
I had a price alert for these on Amazon if they hit below $75. In the last few months that alert has repeatedly gone off and I picked a couple up for around $63. You can easily hit that value in a couple cards.
@facelessgames94 Card Kingdom and TCG says MoM for the Card unless this is some unique limited box he opened that excludes certain MoM cards. I doubt it.
Love your content, box openings are a great add. Would like to hear more about which cards you like and which are useful in certain decks/combos etc. maybe drop the volume on the music a bit so it doesn't compete with you speaking 👍
It's a cool idea, just poorly marketed and executed. Apparently they are doing a small mini similar thing with assassin's Creed? Beyond boosters they're called. I did pull a foil showcase tyvar in a pack and it's cool as hell. It has good cards. I think they should have had cards like the one with Karn holding norns head in this set so you could actually see the story unfold. Either way, you got your money back!
Lol,defication killed me.I feel bad for anyone who was paying full price for this product and to break even in card value is kinda crappy honestly. Because how are you going to sell all these .30 cards and stuff. By time you add up the cards you actually wanted you could have just spent 30 bucks and had all of them,the exact stuff you wanted without a bunch of trash cards that you couldnt give away.
I would buy ONE collector box for 80€ but here in europe it's currently 118€ + shipping at the cheapest and since all but only a few cards are so cheap to get, it's better to just buy singles. At 80€ I'd maybe open for fun but even if you pull the top 4 mythics you might STILL not break even and who is going to buy two of these?

Love your content, however not sure why you're trying to hype up this junk. Aftermath was WotC trying to capitalize on MOM that they tried selling the collector boxes for 240 dollars.
